There was a two sided information card about the special tea in the box.

Bruu Gourmet Tea Club July 2020 Review

This month Bruu sent a Darjeeling tea. This is from Fikkal, Nepal. For a perfect cup, brew in 100 degrees Celcius for 2 mins.

My husband's thoughts: The tea is very light and requires longer than usual steeping to take it from just plain water to something with more flavor. It really reminds me of green tea. In the end, I found I liked the tea with the light taste.

Somerset Bop
Somerset Bop

Somerset Bop This tea is from Sri Lanka and is designed to work with or without milk. For a perfect cup, brew in 100 degrees Celcius for 2-3 mins.

My husband's thoughts: This tea is very low acidity for a black tea. The low bitterness due to the acidity level makes this a tea easy to drink without anything but a killer with a little honey.

Lemon Waffle
Lemon Waffle

Lemon Waffle This is a citrus fruit tea wit a hint of waffle and it comes from Costa Rica. For a perfect cup, brew in 100 degrees Celcius for 3 mins.

My husband's thoughts: Almost good enough to eat the tea itself. This tea is very great to drink and fits very well in the other desert capacitors.

Pina Colada
Pina Colada

Pina Colada This is a Caribbean green tea. For a perfect cup, brew in 80-90 degrees Celcius for 2-3 mins.

My husband's thoughts: Who doesn't love a Piña colada? The tea is a very fragrant liquid that will taste more like a light dessert. The tea is made up of many tasty bits that are also good to eat but mainly don't give a deep enough taste when the proper amount of tea is used.

Vive Nature Protein Snack Bar

Vive Nature Protein Snack Bar This bar is in salted caramel and is the bonus treat in the box. It has 10 grams of protein and is vegan, gluten-free, and high in fiber.

Final Thought: My husband enjoys a nice cup of tea every day. It's nice to try new kinds of tea in the comfort of your own home, without having to go out in stores. My husband thought this was his favorite Bruu box that he has received. If you enjoy tea, check out BRUU!
