GlobeIn‘s 1st theme for April's box is “Sustain”.Boxes are $40.00 month to month and filled with handmade items from all over the world.  I love the quality of the items in my GlobeIn boxes.  You also find out about where each item comes from and who made it. You can save $10.00 on your first box of a three-month subscription, just use  coupon the on WELCOME.

GlobeIn has already started to add great features to their boxes and more are rolling out soon.  Here is a complete list!

There was a coupon for $25 off a $80 purchase from Soko.  Shopsoko.com offer ethical fashion jewelry and they also give 25% of revenue to their artisans.

Recycled Glass Tumbler

Recycled Glass Tumbler (Palestinian Territories) $30.00 This beautiful blown glass tumbler is made from recycled bottles. The bottles are crushed and melted in hot ovens. Each piece is lead free and are just stunning. I love the look of blown glass. It's such a beautiful art.

Kaisa Basket Bowl

Kaisa Basket Bowl (Bangladesh) $14.00 Kaisa is wild crass that grows along the riverbanks in Banglasdesh. The kaisa is cut during the monsoon season, but the roots are left for future plants.

Upcycled Bell

Upcycled Bell (India) $12.00 This bell is hand hammered from recycled tin and iron sheets. These used to be used to heard livestock.  Each bell is handmade, so each one plays a different tune.

Air PlantAir Plant

Air Plant (Japan) $7.00 Air plants are great because they require very little care.  Just spritz with water 1-3 times a week.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $66.00.  GlobeIn always sends boxes that I can use in my home.  I put the basket on my table to hold some fruit.  The tumbler was great for an evening drink, and the air plant is in my window. This is one subscription that really stand out from other subscriptions. You can save $10.00 on your first box of a three-month subscription, just use the coupon WELCOME. Each box will only be $34.67.
