What’s in the box? Your first month will come with a premium Primal Man double edge razor, brush, blades, soaps and more. Subsequent boxes are filed with aftershaves, soap, blades and other shaving goodies.
Primal Man Shave Club ships from the United Kingdom. The box got a bit torn during shipping, but I don’t think anything fell out.
There was an information card that tells you how to wet shave. This is really informative for new wet shave razors.
Kent Shaving Brush: This brush is made of bore bristles and designed to help you form a good lather on your face. My husband tried this out, and thought it worked adequently, but it did have some flaws. You had to use a good amount of soap to get the lather, and some bristles broke during use.
Kent Luxury Shaving Soap SB2 $17.62 This is a very large bar of soap, too big actually for a cup. This has scents of lavendar, pine, clove, nutmet, cedarwood, sandalwood, vanilla and musk. The scent is mild, pleasant soap smell. This formed a nice lather for shaving
Razor: This razor is made with a weighted handle for an easier shave. This is a traditional wet shave razor, much different that conventional razors.
Vidvut Supermax Super Stainless Blades: Made in the UK, these blades work with the razor to give you a good shave. My husband thought these were nice, but a bit thin.
The Legends London After Shave Astringent: These matchsticks have astringent on the ends, to help with cuts.
These little sticks really look like matches.
Final Thought: I couldn’t do a full price breakdown, but the soap had a nice retail value of almost $18.00. My husband thought all the products worked together to give a nice shave, with only minor issues with a couple of items. Primal Shave Club is almost identical to another shave subscription, with a few differences. While it’s a bit pricey for US customers right now, FREE shipping means international subscribers can save a good amount of money. If you are interested in trying Primal Shave Club, use this link with the code 3FORBOXMOM to save £3 ($4.69 USD) on your 1st box.
