First Look.  The each tea comes with an information card about the history of the tea, steeping instructions and taste notes.

Imperial Zhejiang Cloud's Tea Green Tea: This is the most popular tea in China, and it comes in the Jianghua, Zhejiang province.

Imperial Zhejiang Cloud's Tea Green Tea:

Imperial Zhejiang Cloud's Tea Green Tea: (Taste notes from Subscription Box Dad)  This tea is is a medium to long cut leaf but it was easy to measure. The tea has a earthy nutty aroma with a hint of sweet spice. I am not a huge fan of green tea but this tea had a pleasant understated taste that I enjoyed. The after taste was pleasant since the acidity level was low.

Imperial Golden Monkey Tea This tea comes from the Fujian province, originating from the Song Dynasty.

Imperial Golden Monkey Tea

Imperial Golden Monkey Tea: (Taste notes from Subscription Box Dad) The Imperial golden monkey tea is a great tasting black tea. It has a full aroma, sweet taste with low acidity making for a pleasant after taste.

Mingwei Convenience Strainer

Mingwei Convenience Strainer If you have never fixed loose tea before, this strainer sits in your cup and that is how you steep your tea.  We have some tea balls, but I like this little pot best.

Final Thought: Overall the teas selected were good. My favorite was the Imperial golden monkey black leaf tea. It had a great flavor, and maybe the best black tea I have had. I enjoyed it even without my normal addition of milk and sugar.  The price is a bit expensive for 4 oz of tea, but the teas were tasty and not something that I would select or know to select otherwise.  If you want to try Loose Tea Addict, use this link.
