I would love to be sitting on that beach right now.

The information card had brewing instructions to get the perfect cup of coffee.

The coffee was wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a sticker.

Ethiopia Muhrabawi Limu: The coffee came in a regular coffee bag and was labeled Ethiopia Muh. When your coffee ships, you will get a tracking number and information about the coffee you will receive in your box.

This is a screen shot of the emailed information you received.  I like that they included the taste notes.

My husband tried the coffee and these are his taste notes: “This coffee has a dark bean color and brews to a dark color. I would classify it as the color as a City or City + plus. The aroma was a very pleasant one with a hint of chocolate like smells. The taste honestly surprised me. It was mild and smooth but with a great full body taste. The after taste was a decent one with a hint of sweetness. I could have drunk the coffee without any milk or sugar. However, adding both made the coffee taste really good.”

Final Thought: I didn’t do a retail value, but I saw artisan fair trade coffee on Amazon for around $20.00 with shipping , so the $21.00 doesn’t seem to high.  The coffee was quite good.  I overlooked the information card in the email originally, but I found it quite helpful.  Beach City Coffee really impressed my husband, which is quite difficult to do.  If you want to try Beach City Coffee, use this link.

    Hi Subscription Box Mom,

Thank you for the review on our coffee. I wanted to clarify that we do send information on the coffee via email; which includes: where its from, details on the bean, and coffee flavor profiles. Because we are constantly providing our customers with new coffee beans from around the world, sending the details by email is more practical and eco friendly. Thanks again, and I’m glad to hear your husband enjoyed the coffee.

    Best regards,

Thanks for the update. I didn’t get an email, so I didn’t know.
