Wantable July 2015 Makeup Review
I have a full-on love for makeup, so I love getting my Wantable Makeup. For $40.00/month, you get a box of makeup curated to your preferences. When you sign up, you will fill out a style profile about your personal preferences. If you get one or more items that you don't like, you can return them for partial credit, or full credit. If you keep all your items, you will get a $4.00 credit to you next month.
Wantable ships by USPS in a black and white box.
The information booklet lets you know all about the items in your box.
The inside of the information card has your profile preferences on the left a list of items in the box on the right. There is a retail price and a “your price”. Your price is the what you will get if you return an item.
This is a look at my makeup profile.
Doucce Luminous Eye Shadow #62 “Ocean Blue” Retail Price $35.00, Your Price $15.88. This palette has three beautiful colors that complement my blue eyes. My palette didn't come with the standard eyeshadow applicator, but I never use those anyway. The colors go on lightly, with little to no fall out. They have a nice shimmer and are build-able.
Vincent Longo Lip Gloss Alpha Retail Price $22.00, Your Price $9.98 This gloss plumps lips, adds deep color, and moisturizes lips. This gloss is almost a stain, as the color is long-lasting but it still has properties of a gloss. This is really a fabulous color.
Ofra Lipstick Berry Sexy Retail Price $13.15, Your Price $5,97 This creamy lipstick is made with anti-oxidants, vitamin E and Natural sunscreen. The product is actually a beautiful berry shade, which is just perfect for me.
Seta Eyeshadow Brush Retail Price $18.00, Your Price $8.17 Since my palette didn't come with an applicator, it's nice to have a new eye-shadow brush!
Here are swatches of all the products, the three eye shadows are on the top, then the Ofra lipstick and the Vincent Longo Gloss.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $88.15. I really loved this month's box, especially since there was two lip products in the box! This box looks awesome! I subbed to Wantables Makeup for two months in the winter and only got one product I liked, so I cancelled. Maybe this box has gotten better :).
Maybe adjust your profile and try again. I love their return program.
