WhimseyBox is a craft subscription box that sends a complete craft, with all the supplies needed, for $15.00 a month. Every month, WhimseyBox sends project instructions, DIY supplies, a reusable storage box, and an original 5×7 original art print each month. WhimseyBox's slogan is “Stop pinning, start making”.  WhimseyBox sends everything to me for $15.00 a month.  I am going to note, Whimseybox is having major customer service issues and delayed shipments.  You can see my post HERE for more information.  I am glad they finally shipped their August box, but it is much too late.  The Facebook updates have stopped and I still think this subscription is on the way out.

Whimseybox ships in a blue box and ships near the end of the month.  This is the August box, and I didn't receive it until two days ago.

The inside box is white and is a nice reusable box.

First Look:  I always like whimeybox's packaging.  I use the ribbons to mark my suitcases when we travel.

Information Guide: Whimseybox includes an information.  The front of the information guide has a picture/card.  This month's said “She believed she could, so she did”.

The project for August is to make a Pajaki, which is a Polish paper chandelier.  I am not excited about this project.  It looks pretty involved and I don't know what I would do with it.

Whimseybox includes step by step instructions on how to complete the projects.  There are 12 steps all together, but it is alot of threading.

Whimseybox includes everything you need to complete the project.  There is also a contents card with pictures of everything in the box.

Final Thought: I am not a fan of the August project.  Honestly, it looks like a ton of work and I don't even know what I would do with it, once it was done.  I am really still upset about the lack of communication from Whimseybox and that it took till the end of September to get my August box.  I am not expecting to get a September box or the store order I placed, but we will see.  If you are looking for a craft box, I will suggest Darby Smart.  You can click HERE and read my Darby Smart reviews.  If you click HERE and use the code HOWDYDARBY, you will get $10.00 off your first box, making it only $9.00!.
