Bluum August 2014 Review + Coupon Code

Bluum August 2014 Review

Bluum August 2014 Review

Bluum is $24.95 a month and each month you get a box of toys, personal items and snacks for the age and stage of your child.  Bluum bought out/merged with Stork Stack a few months ago, and there have been some changes. You can now make selections about what milestones your child has reached.  Bluum then uses that information to better customize your box. You can try Bluum and save 50%, by clicking HERE using the code SHARE50.  This month's box was for my T, my 2 year old.  It is the 30 month old boy box.

I couldn't wait to dig in to this month's Bluum box.  I have been excited about the changes and I looked forward to seeing the box.

 First Look

Bluum doesn't mail an information card, but they do include a title card with the month of your box.

In the City Puzzle Book: $11.65 This is really fun book.  As you read the book, you put the puzzle piece where it goes.  T had a great time putting the puzzle pieces in the book.  Even my 5 year old enjoyed it,

Blum Naturals Dry and Sensitive Skin Daily Cleansing Towelettes with Chamomile, 30 Towelettes $6.99: This is a gift for mom.  These smell great and made my face feeling clean.  I love face cleansing towelettes and I am almost out of mine.

Soothie Suckers Nasal Support Freezable Ice Pops, Herbal Supplements $9.99:  These are frozen Popsicle that are packed with herbs to help support your immune system.  My oldest is going back to school next week, so I hope these can help keep the sick bugs away.

Crocodile Creek Dinosaur Placemat $4.68  I have a nice wood table, so I use place mats and cheap tablecloths to protect it.  I am always glad to get new place mats.  This is a really cute one.  I am hoping of my boys really get into dinosaurs, because I love them,

Dabble Detergent: $1.99: This is some sample detergent.  I will take this on an upcoming vacation.  My kids are always getting dirty so, this will help with stain of nice clothing.

Bonus Items:  If you read my July review HERE,  I was disappointed with the age of some of the items, so Bluum agreed to send me a couple bonus items this month.

Getting My First Haircut (First Experience Sticker Storybook) $4.49:  This is a story about a child's first haircut.  T was 1 years old, maybe before  on his first haircut.  He doesn't like getting his haircut now, so this was still a nice book to read.  Some of the activities were are geared more for a 5 year old though.  It ended up being fine, because L was interested in the activities and T liked the story, so both boys enjoyed the book together.

Little Pim Coupon:  There is a coupon for 25% your first purchase for Little Pim.  It think the Panda is cute, and I will use it as a bookmark, for my kids books.  I don't consider a coupon an actual item though.

Final Thought:  This box had a total value of $35.30 with an additional $4.49 in bonus items. I really enjoyed this box and I felt this box was fun and really useful.  I like that the suckers and face wipes are consumable, so I don't have too much clutter in my house.  Our family loves books, so the activity/books were a hit!  Bluum impressed me this month!  You can try Bluum and save 50%, by clicking HERE using the code SHARE50.
