Bluum July 2014 Review

Bluum July 2014 Review

Bluum is $24.95 a month and each month you get a box of toys, personal items and snacks for the age and stage of your child.  Bluum was one of my first subscription boxes.  Bluum is different than other children subscription boxes, but I have liked most of my boxes from them.  You can try Bluum and save 50%, by clicking HERE using the code SAVEMEHALF.  If you sign up, I would recommend using a pre-paid card, as they can be hard to cancel.  This month's box was for my T, my 2 year old.  It is the 29 month old boy box.

Bluum included a general information card about Bluum.  A detailed information card is emailed once your box is delivered.

Melissa & Doug Fresh Start 12 Piece Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle $7.99:  My family loves Melissa and Doug products and we have a several.  My one concern about this puzzle, is it is for kids 3 years old and up.  While T won't choke on the pieces, he won't be able to put it together either.  I wish they sent a more basic puzzle.  I know some people like toys their kids can grow into, I prefer toys that kids can use now.

Bumpkins Dr. Seuss Cat In The Hat Plate:  $6.99:  I like divided plates, because it makes dishing out size appropriate foods easy.  This is a cute plate and we will use it.

Bitsy's Brainfood Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin Smart Cookies $2.00: T is always snacking,  That child eats all day.  These are made with good ingredients and it is a better for you snack.  I can feel good giving these to T.

Bunny Loves to Color – Color the Story $4.45 This is a little story book that you color and add stickers to.  If you notice at the bottom right hand corner, there is a warning that this is not for kids under 2.  I was disappointed that there was another inappropriate aged toy in the box.  Luckily there is a story in this book, so I can remove the stickers until T is older.

Here is a look inside the book.  Very cute illustrations.

I Love Mondays: And Other Confessions from Devoted Working Moms $12,61: This is about the balance of work and home.  While I am a working mom, I work inside the home.  I am going to read this book and see if I can relate.

Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Starfish Shovel $3.42:  This is a cute little shovel and T will have a blast in the sandbox.

Final Thought:  This box had a total value of $37.46.  This had a nice value but I was disappointed in the two 3 years and up items.  I did contact Bluum and they responded very quickly.  Bluum said they are going to send me two replacement items, in next month's box.  I still enjoy getting Bluum.  You can try Bluum and save 50%, by clicking HERE using the code SAVEMEHALF.
