Nerd Block is $13.99/mo plus $6.00 shipping. Nerd Block Jr. is a monthly surprise package just for kids! Shaping tomorrow’s nerds today, Nerd Block Jr. is specifically designed for children aged 6-11 (give or take a year) and is filled with toys and games just for them! This is one of the only subscription box I know of, that sends toys to kids over 5. There is a huge lack of boxes for older kids. You can see all my Nerd Block Jr reviews HERE.
Cost: $13.99 plus $6.00 shipping
What’s in the box: Nerd Block Jr. is filled with toys, games, and collectibles from your kids favorite brands including Star Wars, Disney, Adventure Time, My Little Pony, Angry Birds, and many more!
When am I charged? Initially, you will be charged for your first Block at the time you register for your subscription. Then, you will be billed at the beginning of every month for that month’s subscription (January block is billed on 1 January). The monthly billing closes on the 8th of the month.
For example, if you subscribe on January 10th, that payment will be applied to February Block (remember, the closing date for January was the 8th). Your next billing will occur on March 1st for the March Block.

If you subscribe prior to the closing date for that month’s Block (you subscribe on January 7th or prior) you will be billed immediately for January’s Block and your next payment will occur February 1st for February’s Block.

The closing date can be found on the homepage (hint: it’s the countdown timer).
When does it ship? Nerd Block Jr. is sent out at the same time as Nerd Block – approximately the 15th of every month, give or take a day. Once your Nerd Block Jr. is shipped, you’ll receive an email notifying you of your tracking information!
How do I cancel? Cancelling a subscription is easy! Just email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and address, and they will cancel your account. Please note that all orders must be cancelled 24-hours prior to the 1st of every month.
I like that the girl’s Nerd Block Jr ships in a purple box. So girly!
Mega Blocks Blind Packs-Smurf $2.99 This contains a mystery smurf and a little scene. Of course I won’t leave you in suspense. Keep reading and see which smurf I received.
I received Brainy Smurf. I thought my 5 year old son would take this, but he didn’t. Right now, Brainy is sitting my desk. I was always a bit of a nerd, so it fits.
Rainbow Magic Special Edition Belle the Birthday Fairy by Daisy Meadows $4.99: I used the price sticker on the book, but the paperback version is $6.29 on Amazon. This story is about Belle the Birthday Fairy. Jack Frost can’t enjoy his birthday and is determined to ruin everyone else birthday too. This looks like a cute book.
Barbie Mega Bloks Build n’ Style: $5.99: This is Glam Style Barbie and comes with a clothing rack, two skirts and accessories.
Dreamworks Dragons Defenders of Berk Mini Dragons, Cloud Jumper $10.99; I was really surprised to see this was $10.99! This is Cloud Jumper from the new movie Dragons Defenders of Berk. This seem more of a “boy” toy to me. I wouldn’t mind getting it as a child, but not all girls love dragons. My 5 year old son loved this and the dragon flew away very quickly.
Mini Colouring Pages Minnie Mouse $5.00: This is made by Crayola, which I love because some “marker kits” made by off brand, don’t work so well. I love the Crayola brand. This has 80 mini coloring pages with 6 markers.
FInal Thought: This box had a total value of $29.96! The box itself is under $20.00, so this box had a great value. I thought the book was a great addition to the box. The Barbie, Smurf, and Minnie items are really cute. I personally liked the dragon, but I think that might not have been the best choice for a girls box. Nerd Block Jr has created a great box.
