New Subscripton Box Pigment and Palette Review

Pigment and Palette is a new subscription box that sends 4-5 premium art products, plus a collectible postcard with artwork for $15.00.  Pigment and Palette send me their first box to review.  In addition to sending supplies, Pigment and Palette features an article on their website for the postcard artist each month.  This month's artist was Jophen Stein.  You can read about Jophen Stein HERE.

Cost: $15.00 a month
What's in the box: 4-5 premium art products, plus a collectible postcard with artwork
When does the box ship? The box ships the third week of the month
The Box
Pigment and Palette was shipping by USPS.
Inside Box
Inside the first box was a little black box.  It has a magnetic closure, so it is reusable.

This is a really unique piece and it looks like 2 super heroes flying through the city.
Canvasland Unprimed Hemp Artist Canvas sample

I am going to let L use this small piece of canvas to make a tiny masterpiece.
Montana Colors Micro Paint $4.00

From the card “Halfway between a spray and a souvenir, the MICRO from Montana Colors is the smallest spray can on the market.  Available in black and ready to join you wherever you go.”

This is the cutest little can of spray paint.  I am going to have to find something to paint now.

Gamblin Artists Colors Solvent Free Gel $4.92
$19.95 for 150 ml, sample value
 From the card: “A medium to be mixes with oil pants that is solvent free and gives colors more flow and transparency.  Solvent Free Gel has a moderately fast drying rate and increases gloss.  It can be also be used to clean your brushes during painting sessions.  Use Gamsol or soap and water to clean when finished.”
I am not an artist, but this may help me bring out my inner Bob Ross.

Koh I Noor Tri Tone Multi Colored Leads $2.00

These are nice pencils and L will enjoy drawing with them, or I may give them to my artist friend.
The Box
Final Thought: The total value for this box came to $12.92.  This does not include the artist postcard or the canvas sample.  I think this is a great premier box for Pigment and Palette.  If you love art or know an artist, this would be a great subscription to try.  Click HERE to go to Pigment and Palette's webpage.
