Hobby Tron RC Subscription Club Review

Hobby Tron RC Subscription Club Review

Hobby Tron has started a subscription box for RC toys and it's affordable.  When I saw there was a subscription box for remote control toys, I had to sign my husband up.  The RC subscription is $29.95 a month and you will get a RC toy worth $60.00 PLUS, you will get a bonus Phantom RC Helicopter with your first shipment, and $85.00 value.  If you subscribe for a longer period of time, you get a bigger bonus item.

The Details:

Cost: $29.95/month month to month, $28.95/month /6 months, $27,95/12 months

What's in the box?  Discover the latest and Greatest RC Helicopters, Cars & Trucks from the comfort of your home. Each Monthly Box comes with a RC toy at a normal retail price of $60!

When am I billed?  You are billed the same day each month, as you sign up.

When will I get my box?  You box will ship approx 3 days after you are billed?

How do I cancel?  Call (818) 675-9000 and ask for Katie

The box came by FedEx and it came in a HUGE box.  This is the biggest subscription box I have received.

003

Raptor-X 3.5CH Gyro RC Helicopter: $42.95 This is a big helicopter and runs on 6 AA batteries.  You do have to charge it before you use it (around 40 mins).  My husband couldn't wait to try it.

005

The bonus helicopter came in smaller brown box, inside the bigger box.

007

Phantom 3.5CH Gyro Metal IR Helicopter This is a smaller helicopter that also needs 5 AAs.  My 5 year old couldn't wait to try it out.

If you want to see the helicopters in action, check out my You Tube Review below.

Final Thought:  My husband really loved this subscription.  There were not any instruction manuals, but everything was pretty easy to figure out.  Both helicopters were easy to fly and sturdy, when they crashed.  My 5 year old was able to fly them.  If you have an RC fan in your house, you may want to try Hobby Tron RC Subscription.  Just click HERE to try it out.

I keep calling hobbytron for days to cancel my sub. & nobody ever calls me back. Any luck actually speaking with anyone?

wow look what I found on there website. *Monthly Subscription Disclaimer: Subscription orders are required to be sent to Billing Address only. All monthly subscription plans required a monthly minimum of 3 cycle purchase before cancellation. If the monthly subscription plan is cancelled before the minimum 3 cycle purchase, the customer is responsible for cost of free item. Customers can cancel anytime. I wish I would have known I had to be signed up for 3 months to get the free item. Or If I cancel early I will get charged for the free item.

This is a horrible company. The first box came late and one of the helicopters are broken. This month I just got another broken helicopter in my subscription box. I cannot believe I was fooled by good reviews. Everyone I have seen says they are nothing but trash. I am done. This is a horrible company and they are fleecing people by sending them nothing but trash. I signed up for a 6 month program and that was a huge mistake. I want out of the subscription service and I want my money back. There is nothing worthwhile from Hobbytron. Complain to the BBB and shut this place DOWN!!!

Huh, I was pretty excited about this program, but after reading the comments from melissa and julie I’m not so sure. Has anyone else had experiences (good or bad) with hobbytron?

How long did it take for it to be sent? I ordered one on the 6th and it’s still being processed in the stupid warehouse. I want to cancel it after i get the box hopefully this is ridiculous it’s been 12 and still nothing. I just want to know how long does it take to finish processing in their stupid warehouse I’ve emailed them twice asking but nothing has been sent back through emails i’m getting very angry at the place. wish they would actually do their job i’m about to give an upsetting bad review somewhere. sorry rant over

I can’t find my email to check but I remember it didn’t take a long time. Have you tried calling? I would try (818) 675-9000 or (818) 675-9001.
