Panda Crate September 2019 Review

Panda Crate shipped in a large teal box. I received the newborn box.

The theme is “Bond with me”. The top card has a slot for the magazine and a smaller slot for the activity cards.

The magazine has parenting articles about dealing with stress, recognizing your baby's cues and building connections.

Activity Card Pouch

This little pouch comes with an introduction card to Panda Crate. Save this pouch and you can store your activity card inside.

Black and White Cards

Black and White Cards

Black and White Cards Each activity card has information on the front and back of the card to inform you on how to use each item. Babies will enjoy these cards due to the high contrast images. There are five, two-sided cards on a plastic ring.

One side of the cards has a black background with white images.

The other side of the cards has a white background with black images.

Tummy Time Mirror

Tummy Time Mirror This activity set has so many uses. You can lay it fly during tummy time, hang it on the wall, stand it on its side for baby to look in a mirror or fold it into a triangle.

Each side of the activity has flaps to flip-up, pockets, and ribbons to play with. There is a clear pocket in one section for the black and white cards to be slipped into. I love this setup and it's great for developing babies.

The cards slip off the key ring to go in the pocket. I just left it on for this purpose.

Milestone Pillow and Cards

Milestone Pillow and Cards

Milestone Pillow and Cards I never used a milestone marker for my kids, but I wish I would've. The pillow has a pocket to put each milestone card. The back of each card has a place to write information about the development of baby.

Milestone Pillow and Cards

The pillow is very soft and has a tiny plush panda sewn above the pocket. There are milestone cards of each month in the baby's first year. There is also a cardboard pocket to store the cards.

The back of the milestone cards has a place to put baby's “pounds, inches, how many teeth they have, what baby can do and things baby loves”.

Swaddle Blanket

Swaddle Blanket

Swaddle Blanket A good swaddling blanket is a must-have for babies. This one is made of muslin, which is a light breathable fabric. The card gives instructions on how to properly swaddle a baby.

My youngest loved these lightweight blankets and one of them became my son's lovie. This blanket is super soft and is covered it brightly colored half circles.

Activity Cards

Activity Cards

Activity Cards There were four additional cards in the box that had activities you could do with your child. The activities are designed to help visual development, sense of balance, brain-building bonding, and musical bonding.

Final Thought: Kiwi Crate never disappoints. Panda Crate is an all-encompassing box to foster development, fun, and bonding with your child. The products in the box are made well and fun for baby. This would make a great baby shower gift for a new mom or a fun subscription for your family. Just tried your link and the promo doesn’t work

  2. Subscription Box Mom, September 8, 2019:

The link is supposed to save 40% on you 1st box, but I just found out that Panda Crate is exempt. The link saves 40% on the first box for any KiwiCo subscription, except Panda Crate. Sorry about that and I am updating the review.

  3. Kim, September 8, 2019:

Hey! Love the review but when I tried the link for the 40% off to try it out it says it excludes the panda crate, just wondered if this was an error or I did something wrong? Thanks!
