Alltrue is Restarting – What does this mean for you?

Alltrue is Restarting

Alltrue is restarting subscriptions, and changes have been made. If you remember, back in April 2022, Alltrue seemingly disappeared from the internet, and rumors of bankruptcy started.

Alltrue is under new ownership after the past owners filed an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors.

Alltrue made a Facebook post yesterday, nd has released more information about what happened.

Facebook Post

What happened?

In mid-April, Alltrue was in the very difficult position of having to restructure — the supply chain headwinds and economic conditions created an unsustainable operating environment and the survival of the Alltrue brand required a full reset, restructure, and sale of company assets through an out-of-court bankruptcy alternative called an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors.

Until a resolution was reached about the future of the company, the original team was legally unable to speak about the situation publicly, including with the Alltrue community here and elsewhere. There was a possibility of a transition of ownership but there was also a possibility that Alltrue would have to permanently shut down.

The good news: a new and experienced ownership team was found to take the brand forward, and a new journey begins today. Alltrue will be able to continue on its mission by preserving the product experience and all the other things you love most about your Alltrue membership, while also making on-time shipping and transparent communication a top priority going forward. Our first order of business is to ship your Spring Boxes!

Stay tuned here and in your account page for more updates in the coming days and weeks. Members should have received an email with detailed information and individual membership status updates.

A note about comments: We want to be able to respond to all comments and we expect you to have many questions. We're currently rebuilding social media and support teams, and it will take some time to get back up and running, but we will be doing the best we can to monitor and reply, alongside of the work we're doing to get the fulfillment operation running smoothly. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

For questions related to your account, the best way to reach us at the moment is via email at [email protected]. We'll get back to you as soon we can!

Current Subscribers

If you still have a current subscription, meaning your account reads active and was set to renew at the time of acquisition. From Alltrue “Due to the size of the financial liabilities from the prior business, the only customers whose previous orders the new ownership was able to assume were for customers who had active membership plans which were set to renew at the time of the acquisition. If you haven't already received an email, you should be receiving one shortly, with detailed information and an individual membership status update. Please see below for additional details:

Past/Canceled Subscribers

If you filed a claim with Paypal or your credit card, you will not be receiving a box. If you are still owed boxes from your past subscription, Alltrue is referring you to your financial institution. From Alltrue: “If you had an active membership plan which was set to renew, but your billing information was linked to PayPal, we should be sure to note that there is an unresolved issue with PayPal that we are actively working on. A large number of Alltrue members paid for their membership using PayPal and Gramr Inc. had a large liability owed to PayPal at the time of its assignment, which has slowed our ability to move forward with PayPal.  The team has been actively working on a path forward with PayPal that will allow us to fulfill active PayPal customers and work together on new payment processing, but these discussions have been moving very slowly to date. Your membership plan may be showing as expired at this time, but we will be moving quickly towards a resolution and you should be receiving updated communication about your membership status within the next 1-2 weeks.

If your membership plan had been set to cancel prior to the acquisition, your membership is now showing as expired, and you will no longer see a membership plan under ‘My Memberships'. This means your membership plan has been removed and you are no longer set to receive seasonal boxes. You should have recently received communication to your email address on file with further details.

If you believe you had any remaining box(es) in your membership at the time of cancellation, you should be eligible for a refund through your financial institution’s chargeback process. You can view a helpful article with instructions for filing a chargeback by clicking the link HERE. For orders placed over 180 days ago through PayPal, you will need to follow up directly with the credit card or banking institution your PayPal was linked to for the purchase to request a chargeback.

Past Inventory & More Questions

There are no posts or information about the past inventory and if businesses were paid for their goods. It's also still not known who purchased Alltrue.

There are several unanswered questions, so I plan to continue to follow and see what new details are released.

I recommend checking your account with Alltrue to check the status of your subscription and reach out to Alltrue with any questions.
