Activity 1: City Playset

Activity 1: City Playset

Activity pouch number 1includes everything to make a city playset. Jack is a resident tour guide, and he is going to take you around town. The packet includes a letter, city block, citizens, and food stands.

Activity 1: City Playset

Jack included a letter welcoming you to town and asking you to look around. Can you guess all the jobs in town?

Each piece in the packet is made of sturdy cardboard that won't tear up during play.

The food carts consist of a hot dog stand and a doggy mart. The hot dog stand and a hot dog ready to sell, covered in mustard. The little general store looks like a human one, except for the bone hanging up and the tennis ball where the fruit is at.

You can see what each of the food stands looks like put together.

One of my favorite things in this box is this collection of citizens. Each of them have different jobs and are front and back. My favorite is the little penguin.

This is a closer look at all the characters set up.

The town is made of a thinner material but still quite sturdy. It stretches out like an accordion. There are doors in each of the businesses for the characters to go through.

Activity 2: Mail Delivery

Activity pouch number 2 includes everything to make a mail delivery set. This is where Kiki works! The packet consists of a letter, mail truck, shipping boxes, shipping envelopes, and various objects to mail.

kiki letter

Kiki wrote this letter explaining all the pieces and asking for your child's help preparing packages.

mail truck

The mail truck assembles quickly and can transport some of the packages.

Your child can match the numbers on the packages with the numbers on each business.

There is a two-sided sheet that includes various objects to mail. There are small letters with numbers that can go in the mail slots of the town.

The mail truck and boxes are all assembled. This is a fun set to play with.

Each box assembles, and you can mail objects inside.

Activity 3: The New Mayor

The New Mayor
The New Mayor

Activity pouch number 3 includes everything to set up your office. The packet consists of a letter, laptop, coffee, glasses, and phone.

The New Mayor

Rose is excited that you're the mayor.

These preted glasses can let your child child pretend to protect their eyes from blue light, or to help them see.

The coffee and phone punch out. The little coffee cup has a stand, so children can pretend to really drink.

The laptop folds open and looks like a real keyboard. You have two emails waiting!!

The box can be turned inside out to make your very own desk.

Check out the finished desk.

Once everything is set up, your child can play pretend mayor, then go visit the city.

Final Thought: Once again, I was mpressed Sago Mini Box, and I it's my favorite box this year! The city playset with all the people, mailtruck and accessories are very cute. While this box is geared toward preschoolers, my 10-year-old loved this box. If you want to try Sago Mini Box, use the coupon SMB10 to get $10 off your 1st box.
