Kekao shipped in a plain brown box. The bars shipped in an insulated mailer with an ice pack to keep the bars from melting.

Cacaosuyo Chuncho Cuzco 70% Cacao
This chocolate bar is made in the area around Andean city of Cusco. The bar is made of just two ingredients: cocoa beans and sugar. This classic dark chocolate bar had a sweet flavor with that bit of sharpness of a dark chocolate bar. I always pick dark chocolate to try over milk chocolate and this one met all my expectations.
Raaka Green Tea Crunch Unroasted Dark Chocolate
This bar is a mix of genmaicha green tea, quinoa, and dark chocolate. Raska starts with unroasted cacao beans that are selected straight from the growers. The bar is vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and nut-free. The bar itself is beautiful and the flavor was nice as well. I don't drink green tea, but the tea-flavored mixed with dark chocolate made for a nice tasting bar. This bar has 66% cacao.
Pump Stree Chocolate Sourdough & Sea Salt
This bar has such a unique flavor profile. It's made with dark chocolate and sourdough! This bar is made of 66% cacao from Ecuador. The chocolate has a crunch texture from the sourdough crumbs. The chocolate is milder than the Cacasuyo and the sourdough/sea salt flavor combination adds a salty flavor. This bar is small in size but packs great flavor.
Rococo Chocolates Moroccan Mint Dark Chocolate
The dark chocolate in this bar is 65% cacao and is paired with mint. This was the clear winner in this box. Think of an Andes mint but made with gourmet, artisanal chocolate. This chocolate is great for an after-dinner treat.
Potomac Chocolate Duarte Dominican Republic Dark Milk Chocolate 60%
This bar has 60% cacao, with notes of cream and sweet caramel. This is a smooth and creamy bar. This was my husband's favorite bar in the box. There is a slight damp spot on the packaging from the ice pack, but the chocolate was perfect.
Final Thought: Kekao delivered an excellent box this month. Kekao has an amazing ability to source great-tasting chocolate from all over the world. I have discovered a number of wonderful brands through this box. If you love chocolate, this is a subscription not to miss.
