Ipsy Glam Bag Plus September 2019 Review

Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is a new subscription from Ipsy. Subscriptions are $25.00/month and contain five full-size makeup items personalized to you. Each box is valued at $120.00 or more. Ipsy Glam Bag Plus also sends a deluxe makeup bag every three months.

Ipsy also has the regular subscription. For $10.00 a month,  you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items.  Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think.  When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items.

First Look

The theme for this month is “Find Your Light”. The information card has details about everything in the box.

Nomad Cosmetics Belin Underground Intense Eyeshadow Palette $37.00 This palette has 15 shades, which are quite different than other palettes I own. The palette is filled with shimmery metallics, matte & duo-chrome and was inspired by the 90s subculture before and after the Berlin wall. I think these colors are perfect for fall.

OFRA Cosmetics OFRA X Madison Miller Squad Palette $35.00 I saw this small palette in Madison Miller's YouTube video and I have been wanting to try it. The first color is a subtle pink highlighter and the third color is a more gold highlighter. The blush is buildable and is a great color for day to day.

Illamasqua Antimatter Lipstick in Solar $27.00 I haven't worn lipstick in awhile because of the popularity of liquid lipsticks. This one is a very moisturizing lipstick and it's in a beautiful poppy coral color.

Ciate London Extraordinary Translucent Powder $22.00 I have a huge stock of translucent powders, so I haven't tried this yet. It's an ultra-blendable translucent powder.

APTO Skincare Antioxidant Mask with Pomegranate $36.00 This mask smells so good and it's made with quality ingredients. You apply to your face and leave on for 10 minutes, but don't let it fully dry. This works to remove dead skin cells, restore balance and calm inflammation.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $157.00. My favorite item in the box was the Nomad palette. The colors are much different than the other palettes I own. If you want to subscribe to Ipsy, just use this link.
