Ipsy Glam Bag Plus May 2019 Review
Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is a new subscription from Ipsy. Subscriptions are $25.00/month and contain five full-size makeup items personalized to you. Each box is valued at $120.00 or more. Ipsy Glam Bag Plus also sends a deluxe makeup bag every three months.
Ipsy also has the regular subscription. For $10.00 a month, you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items. Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think. When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items.
Ipsy Plus ships in a pink box.
First Look
Each box comes with a fold out information card. Each of the products is explained, and there is information about the subscription.
Go-To Face Hero $34.00 This is a natural face oil that is for all skin types. It's made with natural ingredients and works to soothe, hydrate and bring life to your complexion. To use, massage five drops into your skin after your serum and before the moisturizer.
Il Makiage Icon High Volume & Intense Curl Mascara $25.00 I have never had a mascara that I felt really curled my lashes. I use a lash curler but I do like how this made my lashes look fuller and longer.
Illamasqua Lip Colouring Pencil Duo in Lust & Media $21.00 each I feel like it has been forever since I have received a lip liner in a box. Both of these liners are different shades of pink and they apply easily. I wear the color “Media” with the gloss that is also in the box. These lasted all day and looked very pretty.
Wander Beauty Wanderess Seascape Eyeshadow Palette $25.00 At first glance, I loved all the colors in this palette. There are six colors total and they are a mix of foil, shimmery, satin and matte finishes. I have really been into foil and shimmery shades lately.
The palette has some beautiful colors, but I don't like the blue shade. As you can see from swatches, the blue is pretty messy. It's the one shadow in the palette that I don't like.
Tokyomilk Lip Gloss $21.00 This gloss is my favorite item in the box. This has a slightly pink shade and isn't sticky at all. It reminds me of an Ulta gloss that was discontinued. I have been wearing this every day.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $151.00. The lip gloss is my favorite item this month, along with the mascara. Ipsy Plus is one of my favorite beauty subscriptions. If you want to subscribe to Ipsy, just use this link.
