First Look

Tone It Up Blueberry Coconut Protein Bar

Tone It Up Blueberry Coconut Protein Bar This bar is gluten free and non gmo. It has 170 calories and would make a great snack after the gym. I am not a fan of coconut, so this is going to my dad.

Sheffa Coconut Dark Chocolate Granolabar

Sheffa Coconut Dark Chocolate Granolabar I have had many different Sheffa bars and they are generally pretty good. This one is a combination of chocolate and coconut in a granola bar. It's gluten-free, vegan, non-gmo and has no trans fats  . Since our family doesn't eat coconut (minus the Jana Banana), this will go in our babysitting box.

Drizzilicious Snacks Cinnamon Swirl

Drizzilicious Snacks Cinnamon Swirl These crunchy mini rice cakes are drizzled with white chocolate and cinnamon. These taste fantastic and there are only 90 calories in the bag.

The Best Bar Ever Peanut Butter Crunch

The Best Bar Ever Peanut Butter Crunch There are no artificial sweeteners in this bar and it has 10 grams of protein. Since it's a peanut butter based bar, I will be sending this to work with my husband.

Jana Banana Bar with Coconut

Jana Banana Bar with Coconut It basically tasted like a very ripe banana. You can't taste the coconut. It has a very natural taste. You mainly taste the banana, with bits of coconut thrown in. It's a great combination and it's paleo, vegan, non-gmo and gluten-free. This has 4 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber. My youngest likes these bars.

Appleways Blueberry Pomegranate Oatmeal Bar This is a soft bar with 8 grams of whole grains, no preservatives, and all natural flavors. This tastes like a cross between a breakfast bar and a turnover pastry. We received strawberry in the October box and apple in the November box. This is a bit too much repetition for my tastes. I like seeing different brands in boxes, especially during a 6 month period of time.

Zee Zee's Honey Roasted Sunflower Kernels

Zee Zee's Honey Roasted Sunflower Kernels You can eat these sunflower seeds right out of the bag, or add them to a healthy salad. There are 200 calories in the bag, but you only need a few if you add them to a salad.

Stroopwafel

Stroopwafel This wafel is filled with caramel, cinnamon, and bourbon vanilla.  These are amazing when they are headed up. We got mini stroopwafels last month (different brand), so I was surprised to see the same type of food again.

PopCorners Kettle Corn Popped-Corn Snack

PopCorners Kettle Corn Popped-Corn Snack Our family loves anything popcorn, even these Popcorners chips. These taste like kettle corn in a chip form.

Ground Up Cauliflower Pretzels - Original

Ground Up Cauliflower Pretzels – Original Cauliflower is the popular food these days. I have never heard of cauliflower pretzels, but they turned out to be rather good. I prefer to eat mine with humus.

Lily's Sour Cherry Double Chocolate Crunch

Lily's Sour Cherry Double Chocolate Crunch My husband loves chocolate covered cherries, so I know he will enjoy this bar. It's sweetened with Stevia and has no added sugar. It's also gluten free!

Awake Caramel Chocolate Bar

Awake Caramel Chocolate Bar One little bar has as much caffeine as a half a cup of coffee. I have had several flavors of Awake and I love them all.

Live Smart Chocolate Flax Bar

Live Smart Chocolate Flax Bar I am not a big fan of flax, so I am not sure I will like this bar. It's rather healthy and free from gluten, soy, lactose, refined sugar, trans fat and it's low in sodium. It has less than 200 calories, so it would make a good snack.

WOWBUTTER Toasted Soy Butter Spread This is peanut butter for people allergic to peanuts. It's peanut free but has a similar taste. I love non-peanut peanut butter, so I can safely eat it at home with my son.

February 2019 Love with Food Deluxe Review

Final Thought: I had mixed feelings about this box. I liked the pretzels and some of the other treats in the box. There were too many repeated companies in this box, and I wish there was less coconut. I am hoping for more salty snacks in the March box. Want to subscribe?
