First Look

Booster Bricks Club January 2019 Review

The theme for January is “Did you say … Dinosaur?”.

Booster Bricks Club January 2019 Review

Each box comes with a new story. When you get to a red brick, you stop and build the challenge build. This month, the story is about Boo and Beans who are cave children living in the caves at Legolia.

If you want to skip the story, there is a breakdown of the projects on a card. The box also comes with a sticker.

Challenge #1

Challenge #1

Challenge #1 Challenge #1 is to use the Minifigure Challenge pack to build one of the cave children. Bean is ready to be the lookout with his binoculars.

Challenge #2

Challenge #2

Challenge #2 You have to put on a blindfold for this challenge. Then, use the pieces in the blindfold challenge, create a stick figure version of yourself on the wall of the cave. This is always the hardest challenge but I always like seeing the outcome.

Challenge #3

Challenge #3

Challenge #3 Using the microbuild challenge, build fruit for Beans and Boo. We built two different kinds of fruit.

Challenge #4

Challenge #4

Challenge #4

Challenge #4 The fourth challenge was to build a dinosaur from the Premier Pack. The Premier Pack is the largest pack in the box and contains tons of LEGOs. My husband helped our boys make this, and it turned out great.

Challenge #5

Challenge #5

Challenge #5 The last challenge used the spotlight piece, plus 15 other pieces, build a torch to scare the dinosaur away. My boys did a great job making the dinosaurs go away.

Final Thought: My family loved playing with LEGOs together. Once we get done making all the builds, my kids take the LEGOs apart and build something new. You can check Booster Bricks at this link.
