Book of the Month December 2018 Review
Book of the Month is a book subscription box that sends a brand new book for as low as $10.47/month.
On the first of the month, you log into your account and choose between five different books, picked out by Book of the Month Judges. There are authors, editors and more on the judging panel. There is also one guest judge each month. You must make your selections by the 14th, or Book of the Month will pick for you. If you don't like any of the books, you can skip!
Once you make your book selection, you can add up to two books to your account for $9.99/each. Once you get your book, you can log into your account and join the discussions.

Cost: $16.99/month, $14.99/month for a 3 month subscription and $11.99/month for a 1 year subscription.

Individual books are sent in a little blue box like this.
When you receive your book, it will be wrapped in plastic with a cardboard piece and there is a bookmark.
Each book is wrapped in plastic and packaged on a larger cardboard card.
No Exit by Taylor Adams This creep tale starts with a college student being stranded at a rest stop in a blizzard, which no one wants to have happened. The college student finds a kidnapped girl locked in a car and one of the four people she is stranded with is the kidnapper.
An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen Jessica signs up for a psychology study, that turns out to be more invasive than she thought She starts by answering questions, then she begins to have to go out with her therapist and behave a certain way. As time goes on, Jessica starts to wonder what and who she can trust.
Severance by Ling Ma This book is all about the end of the world, only in satire form. Candace is living in New York and is facing the end of the world. She has to face what is happening and what she should do next.
The Far Field by Madhuri Vijay Shalini just lost her mother and is trying to find answers. She goes back to Kashmir to confront an old family friend that she thinks will have information. When she gets to Kashmir, she finds that she has more obstacles to go through, than just finding this old friend.
One Day in December by Josie Silver If you are looking for a love story this month, this is the book. Laurie doesn't believe in love at first sight until she meets a man while leaving on a bus. After that, she spend considerable time looking for this mystery man. Finally, they meet again, only her friend is dating him. I am truly intrigued and I want to know what happens.
