First Look
There is a detailed information sheet about the items in the box. The theme for November is “God's Gift”. The scripture for this month comes from Luke 2:8-11 “And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Christ, the Lord.“.
Advent to Epiphany: Engaging the Heart of Christmas $12.50 This devotional doesn't stop with Christmas. It continues all the way to the Epiphany when Jesus was revealed to the world. The book has advent broken down into the four weeks, plus an additional week for the Ephiphany. There are also places to write to God.
Our Family Christmas Devotional $9.90 This book begins on November 28th and ends on Christmas. Each day has a devotional, prayer and family activity. I think I will use the Advent to Epiphany for my husband and me to do together and this one we will do as a family.
There is a ribbon bookmark in the book and each page is decorated with little holly leaves.
Lighthouse Christian Products Jesus Christmas Ornament $11.95 My family loves to decorate for Christmas and what a better way than with an ornament themed around Jesus. The box is printed with the verse from Luke 2: 10, so you remember the real reason for the season.
Christmas Gift Tags This set of gift tags has the verse from Isaiah 96 “His name will be called Wonderful Counselor.”
A Brooklyn Tabernacle Christmas $14.98 This cd has twelve wonderful songs, perfect for the holidays. My favorite song is “I Believe”! If you already love listening to Christmas music, you will love this cd.
God's Gift -18 Christmas Boxed Cards $5.00 This is a beautiful Christmas card and I am thrilled I don't have to go out and buy any.
