First Look

The theme for October is “Kindness is contagious.”

Pirate's Booty This is haul-less popcorn that is coated in white cheddar flavor. Both of my kids love this popcorn, and I wish we had received two bags in the box.

Appleways Strawberry Simply Wholesome Oatmeal Bar This is one of my favorite items in the box. It's a soft bar with 8 grams of whole grains, no preservatives, and all natural flavors. This tastes like a cross between a breakfast bar and a turnover pastry.

Cooper Street Chewy Granola Bakes Blueberry Pomegranate Bar My husband loved this bar. It's made with chia, flax, rolled oats, buckwheat, and blueberries. It doesn't sound that tasty, but it's sweet with the blueberries and pomegranates.

The Daily Crave Veggie Chips These have only nine ingredients and are 100% natural. These taste great in hummus and are non-gmo and gluten-free.

Simply Smart Awesome Chocolate Bar This bar is a mix of chocolate, nuts, flax, and chia. It has a nice flavor, but it was a bit dry. There are 190 calories in the bar, so it makes for a nice snack.

Snyder's Of Hanover Mini Pretzels I have had Snyder's products ever since I was a kid. I love mini pretzels for a snack. I also dip these in hummus or peanut butter. There are only 50 calories in the bag.

Vegan Robs Jackfruit Puffs I have never had jackfruit before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. These puffs have a very slightly sweet flavor, but overall they are pretty plain. They are a healthy snack with only 180 calories in the big bag.

Go, Lite! Himalayan Salt Popcorn, Our whole family, loves popcorn, so I am always happy to see it in my box. This has 65% less fat and 20% fewer calories than the leading brand. This is a salty popcorn and doesn't taste “lite” at all. The whole bag has only 80 calories.

Garden of Life GOL Bar – Maple Sea Salt I love these bars. This is a soft bar, made with dates, cashews, milk protein, and pecans. This bar is organic, non-gmo and gluten-free. This bar is sweet with flavors of nuts and maple syrup.

ThinkThin Protein Cakes Chocolate Cake I was surprised that both cakes have only 1 gram of sugar. They are a chewy chocolate treat, and they have 12 grams of protein. These would make great after dinner desserts.

Halfpops Black Truffle & Sea Salt Popcorn These crunchy snacks are half popped but easier to eat than just crunching on a kernel. These have a salty and slightly garlic flavor.

Kar's Roasted Salted Peanuts If you like nuts for a snack, these are a great choice. These roasted peanuts are salted and have 160 calories per bag.

Surf Sweets Spooky Spiders Surf Sweets makes candy kids love with no artificial colors or flavors. These gummy spiders are quite large, and my kids loved seeing them in their lunches.
