KidBox September 2018 Boy Review

KidBox September 2018 Boy Review

KidBox is a clothing subscription box for children that you can try FREE.  When you sign up, you will fill out a questionnaire about your child's likes and dislikes.  You will be sent 6-7 name brand clothing pieces for $98.00 total.  When you get your box, you have 7 days to decide to keep, exchange sizes or not purchase pieces.  If you keep the whole box, your card will be charged $98.00 and KidBox will donate clothes to a child in need.  You may select to keep only one or two pieces, or none at all, just be sure to make your selections within the 7 days.  I love that there is no obligation to buy anything.

Kidbox ships in a large box.

First Look

There is a clear packet in the box that includes some crayons, advertisements, letters stickers, return label and information guide.

The information guide includes pricing details for every clothing item in the box. You can buy individual pieces at a discounted rate, or buy the whole box for $98.00. If you don't love your box, you can return everything and pay nothing.

Kids Club Boys Henley Long Sleeve Shirt Kidsbox Price $28.00 This long sleeve shirt looks great with kacki pants or jeans. The fit is great and perfect for fall.

Me + Henry Boys Cuffed Sweatpant with Drawstring

Me + Henry Boys Cuffed Sweatpant with Drawstring Kidsbox Price $28.00 I was thrilled to get a pair of pants with a real drawstring. The cuffed pant legs make this look a bit more stylish than a plan pair of sweatpants.

I don't think I would really have him wear these two pieces together, but I think they could be worn together.

Andy + Evan Boys Color Blocked Pocket Tee

Andy + Evan Boys Color Blocked Pocket Tee Kidsbox Price $28.00 This is another great shirt. I like the mix of plain sleeves with the striped shirt. There is also a working pocket.

Vignette Boys "Cameron" Style Pant

Vignette Boys “Cameron” Style Pant Kidsbox Price $26.00 These pans look grey, not brown as the information guide indicated. These were actually a bit short, but they were way too big. These don't adjust, so they were way too big. My youngest is average height and weight, so I am going to save these for him. I ended up wanting to keep more than enough shirts to justify buying box.

This is the shirt/pants combination. The shirt works great, but as you can see, the pants are too short.

French Toast Boys Camo Pocket Tee

French Toast Boys Camo Pocket Tee Kidsbox Price $9.00  My son loved camo, so we had to keep this one. It fits well and is a stylish camo look. It can also be layered under some other shirts my son has, which will be great for fall.

I pared the camo shirt with jeans, which is my son's go-to look.

Me + Henry Boys Multi-Stripe Polo

Me + Henry Boys Multi-Stripe Polo Kidsbox Price $27.00 This is a very interesting top. It looks like a regular polo shirt, but it's made of a sweatshirt material. My son was a little unsure of the material at first, but he likes it. I can see him wearing this piece to church.

In the interest of not having my son trying on 300 outfits, I paired this one with jeans as well. This could also go well with some nice khaki pants.

KidsClub Flat Front Jogger

KidsClub Flat Front Jogger Kidsbox Price $29.00 As soon as my son put these pants on, he loved them. As with most pants, these were too big around the waist, since there was no way to adjust them. I may see if I can alter them, so at least my son can wear them around the house.

The box came with a free water bottle for your child. This is a free gift, regardless of what clothes you keep. The bag is for all the clothes you decide to return.

There as a cute little story with the Me + Henry items.

Final Thought: I loved the shirts and the one pair of pants in the box. Those items alone would've been $117.00 if I justs bought them separately. It was cheaper to buy the whole box for $98.00 and keep the two pairs of pants I didn't like. I did pass on some feedback to my stylist that I would love adjustable pants. While she said there is no way to formally request adjustable pants, she is going to note in my account. If you have a kid you don't always fit in regular clothes, you may want to give them a call. You also can request no pants in your box. That is something I would've done, but I forgot my box was shipping and didn't change my profile. This is a great box, because even if you hate the whole box, you can send everything back and pay nothing.

You can try this service FREE and use my referral link to save $25.00 on your first box. The $25.00 will come off the $98.00 box price or if you buy just one or two items.
