First Look

Degustabox comes with a colorful information sheet.

Sunspire Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies

The recipe for October is Sunspire Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies.

Sunspire Peanut Butter Chips

Sunspire Peanut Butter Chips $7.99 You can use these to make the chocolate peanut butter brownies from this month's recipe. I was surprised by the $7.99 cost, but it an accurate price. Since my oldest is allergic to peanuts, I won't be baking with these, but one of my friends will be happy to get them.

Idahoan Steakhouse Creamy Potato Soup

Idahoan Steakhouse Creamy Potato Soup $2.99 Our family is very busy, so we are always on the go. I love meals I can throw a few ingredients together for dinner. The package contains 4 servings and all you need is water.

Brown & Haley Caramel Roca

Brown & Haley Caramel Roca $2.99 Each of these candies are individually wrapped. The center is a buttercrunch toffee that is surrounded by caramel and nuts. I thought these were tasty, but my husband really enjoyed them.

Welch's Fruit Snacks

Welch's Fruit Snacks $2.99 My kids love fruit snacks, so I am glad to get a whole box. The fruit snacks are made with real fruit and are fat/gluten free. I wasn't sure if my kids would like the tropical flavors, but they do.

Bush's Roasted Chickpeas - Cracked Pepper and Roasted Garlic

Bush's Roasted Chickpeas - Cracked Pepper and Roasted Garlic

Bush's Roasted Chickpeas – Cracked Pepper and Roasted Garlic $3.99 The only difference between these two bags are the size of the chickpeas and the flavor. I like the tiny roasted garlic chickpeas the best. They are tiny, crunchy and have a great garlic flavor. The cracked pepper is also pretty tasty too. They would be good in a stir-fry.

Sixlets Chocolate and Fruit Candies

Sixlets Chocolate and Fruit Candies $1.00 each My kids loved tasting both of these candies. The fruit candies were pretty metallic colors and had a great flavor. The sixlets had that same classic chocolate taste.

TastyKake Chocolate Jr and Kandy Kakes

TastyKake Chocolate Jr and Kandy Kakes

TastyKake Chocolate Jr and Kandy Kakes $1.79 each The Chocolate Junior is a large cake like a doughnut with a chocolate filling in the middle. The Kandy Kakes have a cake base that is topped with peanut butter, then chocolate. Both cakes have an expiration date for this month. I reached out to Degustabox and they said a few went out with close expirations, but it was a small number. Both of my cakes tasted fresh and delicious, so I don't see it as an issue.

Bahlsen Waffeletten Crispy Rolled Wafers

Bahlsen Waffeletten Crispy Rolled Wafers $3.49 My 6 year old loved these. They taste like a sweet rolled waffle cone dipped in chocolate. The wafer is very crispy and can be a bit messy to eat. These are a great sweet treat.

Garoto

Garoto $0.80 This candy bar tastes like a combination of chocolate and bananas. The center is a soft filling, surrounded by a chocolate coating.

Pirate's Booty

Pirate's Booty $2.00 for 4 After my kids got done laughing about the Pirate's Booty name, they enjoyed eating this snack. This is haul-less popcorn that is coated in white cheddar flavor.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $36.81. This wasn't my favorite month, but my kids loved all the candy and treats in the box. I am excited for the potato soup and I loved the Pirate's Booty. If you want to subscribe, use the code BOXMOM and get your 1st box for $9.99, FREE Bonus item, and get free shipping,
