August 2018 Boxycharm Review
BOXYCHARM is a beauty subscription box that sends a box of beauty item worth over $100.00, for only $21.00 a month. Each box contains 4 to 5 full-sized beauty products from well-known, chic, and up-and-coming brands. BOXYCHARM sends out full-size products, and each box always has a great value.
Anytime I get a Boxycharm, I open it first. I can never wait to see what variation I get.
First Look
The information card lists everything in the box.
Laura Lee Palette – Party Animal $19.00 Laura Lee just released this palette, along with one other one. The colors are extremely pigmented, so I am going to have to watch some YouTube tutorials on how to use this. The glitter pink color is my favorite color.
The colors are just beautiful!
Smashbox Be Legendary Triple Tone Lipstick – Berry Ombre $24.00 There was a number of different Smashbox lip products sent out. I received this beautiful ombré purple lipstick. There was a Facebook video showing got to wear these lipsticks without looking like you have striped lips.
This ombre lipstick is bright but gorgeous.
Adesse Sweet Almond Cuticle Oil $18.00 I use cuticle oil fairly frequently, though I have plenty right now. This applies just like nail polish and will keep your cuticles looking healthy.
Bang Beauty Chocolate Eyeliner $22.00 I would’ve much rather have black eyeliner than brown, but I will see if it works with my complexion. This is a sweatproof, waterproof, cruelty-free formula that lasts 10 hours.
Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eyes Masks $13.00 After a long day, I enjoy using face masks before bed. These go right under your eyes to reduce puffiness and dark circles. For an extra cooling feeling, store these in your fridge.
House of Lashes – Temptress $9.00 When I saw spoilers that lashes were in the box, I was really hoping for the primer. I never wear lashes, mainly because I am nervous about glue near my eye. These are pretty lashes, so I am going to save them and see if I get brave enough to try them out.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $105.00. Looking at the value alone, this was a great box. I didn't personally love this box through. I love the palette and the lipstick, but I didn't care for the rest. Boxycharm is only $21.00, so even with a month I am not crazy about, I still got my value from the box.
