XIT404 Aqua Pencil Starter Kit $25.00 When you need to write underwater, you need a good pencil. This is an underwater kit with a writing board, underwater mechanical pencil, eraser, and tether. The pencil is specially made to work underwater. All the parts tether together, so you don't have to worry about losing something. The pencil writes well and you really don't need the eraser underwater, just rub the message off the tablet. The kit also comes with extra lead.
My husband is a diver and loves everything in this kit. He is going to keep the eraser off the tether and just use the board with the pencil.
Scuba Sonic AquaSonic Underwater Alarm $22.95 This tool is made of an ABS polymer material that makes noise for up to 30 feet away. You can attach this to your BDU to keep it close by. It seems to be loud, but my husband has not had a chance to test it on a dive, so I am not sure how well it works.
Marine Sports Manufacturing Tank Banger $7.95 This stretches around your oxygen tank to be used as another way to get attention from other divers. Just pull the ball away from the oxygen tank and let go. This is nice because it's out of the way while you are diving. I am surprised there were two noisemakers in the box. It seems like just one would've been sufficient.
Octopus Holder Snap $4.95 This holder snaps to your BDU to keep your buddy's air (octopus) easily within reach. The holder is a bright orange color, so it's easy to spot underwater.
Donation to the Coral Reef Alliance ReefBox donates a portion of the proceeds from each box to the Coral Reef Alliance, which strives to protect the coral reefs.
