First Look

July 2018 Degustabox Review

Degustabox comes with a colorful information sheet.

July 2018 Degustabox Review

The back of the information card has a recipe for Uncle Dougie's Gluten-Free Sweet N' Spicy Bison Balls. I struggle with finding recipes to use with some foods, so I like when the hard work is done for me.

Uncle Dougie's Sweet N' Snappy Small Batch Barbecue Sauce

Uncle Dougie's Sweet N' Snappy Small Batch Barbecue Sauce $5.99 This is a great barbecue sauce that is free from gluten, GMOs, high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, and artificial flavors/colors. Typically barbecue sauces are loaded with sugar, but this one only has 7 grams of sugar and 8 grams of carbs. I like to make grilled chicken, and this will be great as a marinade.

Chomps Original Turkey Stick

Chomps Original Turkey Stick $1.99 After trying this jerky, I wish there were more than one in the box. This is made with 100% free-range turkey and is free from all the junk found in most jerky. It has a great turkey flavor with a mix of spices. This will be an item we will purchase.

Lee Kum Kee Plum Sauce

Lee Kum Kee Plum Sauce I likes plums, but I have never had plum sauce. This is made with salted plums and has a bit of a kick from the chili peppers. Keeping with my love of recipes, this one has a recipe for plum glazed chicken wings.

Alya Matcha Zen Cafe Blend

Alya Matcha Zen Cafe Blend $17.80 Green tea has some great health benefits, and this makes it easier to drink it on the go. This is made with cane sugar instead of regular sugar, so it's healthier for you. Green tea is filled with antioxidants that help you burn fat and improve brain function.

Goetze's Candy Co Chocolate Caramel Creams

Goetze's Candy Co Chocolate Caramel Creams $2.48 These remind me of cow tails only with chocolate. Honestly, I thought they looked a little gross when I saw these, but they are actually good. They are a very chewy chocolate caramel mixed with cream.

Sir Kensington's Chipotle Mayonnaise

Sir Kensington's Chipotle Mayonnaise Sir Kensington makes some amazing sauces. This one is a mix of mayonnaise and chipotle, which goes great on fries or burgers. Even if you don't like mayonnaise, try this stuff!

Wise Snacks Cheez Doodles

Wise Snacks Cheez Doodles .50/bag Anytime I see cheesy snacks, I try those first. These are a baked cheese snack that is packed with flavor. They are very similar to the puffy Cheetos, only with more cheese flavor. These are made with real cheese and have 160 calories in each bag.

Loaker Cocoa & Milk

Loaker Cocoa & Milk $2.68 These chocolate and cream cookies taste like the cookies in the grocery store, only better. The cream inside these cookies is very sweet and rich.
