First Look

The theme for this month is Perseverance, which is perfect for me. I have been working out for a few months, and it hasn't been easy. While working out isn't that deep of a struggle, we all have different struggles in our life. Perseverance is when you keep going, even when it's hard. When the battle is real, “fix your eyes on Jesus”.

This information card gives the theme of the box and describes some of the items in the box. You can go on their blog and get their digital workbook.

The Print: The 5×7 print this month lists the quote “Storms don't last forever”. There will always be difficult times in life, but stay true to your belief in God, and he will see you through it.

The Sticker: The sticker says “Consider it all Joy”. This sticker is a bit harder to embrace with my pessimistic attitude, but I am trying to look at the bright side of situations.

Scripture Card: The scripture card this month is from James 1: 2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything..” You can keep this card in your wallet to remind yourself of this month's theme.

3 in 1 Highlighter, Pen, + Paperclip This 3 in 1 tool as a pen at one and a highlighter at the other end. You can unscrew the middle, and it holds several paperclips. I have never had an office tool like this, and it's very useful.

Magnets Loved and Blessed sent five different magnets. One is just floral; the others say “keep moving forward.” “He's Able.” You've got this”, and “Loved + Blessed.” You can display this in your office or refrigerator to remind yourself to look at the positives in life.

Shoe Laces These hot pink laces have one of my favorite verses “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” – Phil 4:13. These would make perfect shoelaces for my workout shoes.

Encouragement Kit Loved + Blessed often sends little encouragement kits in boxes. These are designed to be given to someone to brighten their day. You can give it to someone you know, or leave it for a stranger.

When you open the card, there is a little envelope that pops up. The card inside is a scripture card like the one in this box; only it's from 2 Timothy 1:6-7 “This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
