There was a two-sided information sheet in the box. The first side is for children and describes each of the books. One note, the book True, was replaced with Emma and the Blue Genie.

The back of the sheet is the parent guide. There are descriptions of each of the books, but there are also questions you can ask your child about the book.

The Complete Book of Dragons: A Guide to Dragon Species (How to Train Your Dragon) Hardcover by Cressida Cowell  $11.40 This book is filled with colorful pages of dragons and dragon lore. If your child loves Harry Potter, he/she will love this book. My oldest is enjoying reading about all kinds of dragons.

Summary: This guide is a must-have for fans of the New York Times bestselling How to Train Your Dragon series that inspired the hit movie and TV show. This gift book features all of the dragon species from the series plus brand-new ones created just for this book, with color illustrations of each and every one!

Emma and the Blue Genie Paperback by Cornelia Funke

Emma and the Blue Genie by Cornelia Funke $8.78 This is not your ordinary genie story. Emma finds a green bottle with a blue genie inside. Instead of the genie granting the girl wishes, Emma seeks out to find the blue genie's magical nose ring, so he can have his magic back.

Emma and the Blue Genie Paperback by Cornelia Funke

SummaryOne night, Emma finds a mysterious green bottle floating in the ocean. When she pulls out the stopper, she sets a blue genie free! Most genies grant three wishes, but Karim can’t grant even one anymore. A yellow genie stole his magic nose ring, leaving him small, powerless, and trapped in that bottle. Emma and her noodle-tailed dog have to help Karim get his nose ring—and his magic—back!

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $20.18, right above the cost of the subscription. My son's favorite book was the dragon book, but he has already started reading the genie book. This subscription sends books right at my son's reading level. If you want to subscribe, use the coupon SUBSCRIPTIONBOXMOM to get 15% off.
