Winter 2017 FabFitFun Review

My items shipped in a pretty green box.
First Look
There was a newspaper in the box that had articles about how to use many of the items in the box.
All the items in the box were on a pager, with descriptions of each one.
BB Dakota Poncho $70.00 This poncho is reversible and oh so soft! This also came in grey and mulberry. I love black, so it was an easy selection. This is nice and large, so you can really wrap yourself up in it. It looks good with jeans or a fancy dress. I really love this piece and it might be my favorite accessory in a FabFitFun box.
Pointe Studio Aloe Infused Ombre Cozy Socks $16.00 These socks smell great and are very soft. I received the blue ombre color, but there was also red and grey. These socks are so cozy. They are post workout sock and I will totally use them for that. After the gym, I love coming home and putting on comfy socks.
Beauty– Nelson J. Beverly Hills Moisture Healing Hair Mask in Coconut $23.00 I selected this hair mask over the eye masks. This is a deep repair treatment that can be used on color treated hair. It's made with 100% argan oil and will help with frizz, split ends and preventing color fading.
Homemade by Ayesha Curry Ceramic Mug $16.00 This mug is pretty big, 16 oz. You can microwave it or stick it in the dishwasher. It came in one of three styles: Love you a latte, Coming in hot, and I'd rather be in bed. I hate getting out of bed, so I received the best mug.
8 Other Reasons 9 Lives Choker (Silver or Rose Gold) $58.00 This choker came in rose gold and silver. This is a multi-layered necklace would look great with a more simple top. As a yearly subscriber, I was able to choose silver or rose gold.
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate $75.00 This is one of the most expensive item in the box. This exfoliation mask uses chemical and physical exfoliation to better your skin. This is made with papaya, pumpkin, and pineapple enzymes. This works to improve skin texture, pores, brighten skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. I tried it out and didn't love the smell, but it wasn't horrible. I felt some tingling, but nothing too intense. After the 2 minutes, I washed it off and applied moisturizer. The next morning I woke up and had pretty severe red blotches. I am not sensitive and never have reactions to face masks. I would spot test this before using it, even if you are not sensitive.
Wellness – This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray $29.00 This pillow spray smells amazing. It's a mix of lavender, vetivert, and chamomile, designed to help you fall asleep. I stay up way too late and often have trouble falling asleep, so I thought this might help. Some subscribers received the FFFTV Fitness Ball with Jillian Michaels Videos.
Ahava Mineral Hand Cream $33.00 This hand cream is made with Dead Sea minerals, witch hazel, and allantoin. This is a thick hand lotion that really moisturizes your skin. It has a nice floral/fresh scent too.
Doucce Cosmetics Freematic Face Palette in Smokey $70.00 I love a smokey look, so I had to grab this color palette. This has a mix of shimmer, matte shades, plus a highlighter. Each of the shades are magnetic, so you can put them in another palette. This palette also came in nude shades.
These are the swatches. I don't pretend to be wonderful at swatches, but they went on a bit light. I was rather disappointed, but once I tried these out, I was impressed. I used a primer, which gave the shades a more dramatic look.
Final Thought: My box had a total value of $393.00, which is crazy! I really love this box. Not only is every box packed with stuff, but the value is always impressive. Even if you don't like one or two items, there are so many more items in the box that make up a great value. I love the poncho, socks, and hair mask. Actually, there wasn't an item I didn't like.
