Irish Taste Club

The month's Irish Taste Club box was quite heavy.

Information Sheet

The first item in the box was an information sheet with details about the subscription and all the products in the box.

All the items were packed in squiggles and wrapped in burlap.

Foods of Athenry Irish Oats Porridge

Foods of Athenry Irish Oats Porridge This porridge comes from the bakeries at The Foods of Athenry.  They have two full bakeries, one is just for gluten free products. This is made with sunshine fruits Californian raisins, apricots & sunflower seeds.

Sheridan’s Cheesemongers Mixed Seed Crackers

Sheridan’s Cheesemongers Mixed Seed Crackers This company is well known for their cheese.  These crackers will go great with cheese or the chutney that was included in this box. These crackers are made with unbleached wheat flour, butter, linseeds, sesame and poppy seeds. These crackers are a bland cracker, but not too dry.  They would taste great with some cheese.

Kylemore Abbey Cranberry Sauce

Kylemore Abbey Cranberry Sauce This cranberry sauce only has four ingredients: Irish cranberries, water, apple and sugar. My husband loves cranberry sauce and will eat it throughout the year.

The Chocolate Garden of Ireland: Classic Hot Chocolate Swirly Stick

The Chocolate Garden of Ireland: Classic Hot Chocolate Swirly Stick My family loves these.  You just microwave a mug of milk, along with this hot chocolate stick.  Once it's heated, you just swirl the chocolate around.  While my husband was putting up lights in the frigid cold, this helped warm him up.

The Chocolate Garden of Ireland Milk Chocolate Fruit & Nut Bar

The Chocolate Garden of Ireland Milk Chocolate Fruit & Nut Bar This is from the same company that made the hot chocolate.  This is a combination of milk chocolate, dried fruit and hazelnuts. This was so rich and tasty, it lasted for a few servings.

Ditty’s Biscuits: Stem Ginger ShortbreadDitty’s Biscuits: Stem Ginger Shortbread

Ditty’s Biscuits: Stem Ginger Shortbread I love shortbread, but I didn't know if I would like the ginger. These cookies were fantastic.  They just melt in your mouth and the ginger adds just a slight kick of flavor. This was my favorite item in the box.

Sheridans Cheesemongers Christmas Chutney

Sheridans Cheesemongers Christmas Chutney I look forward to trying this with the crackers.  I had never had chutney, until subscription boxes. This was made in small batches and contains fruits and nuts.
