First Look.
Each box comes with an information book, which gives details about the products and the artisans who make them.
Wood & Bone Condiment Bowl, Kenya, 3.75″ diameter Retail $12.00 & Wood & Bone Condiment Spoon, Kenya, 2.5″ Retail $5.00 This bowl and spoon was handcrafted in Kenya. Carving groups are popular in Kenya, as multiple generations live together. 5 different tribes came together with carvers, snaders and bone setters to make these pieces.
This bowl and spoon is made of olive wood, which requires a liscense before it's cut down. You can use this little bowl for herbs, sauces, and spices.
Block Print Table Runner, India, 80″ x 17″ $30.00 Lakshmi married at a young age, and instead of staying in the home, she started her own buisness. She now does block printing in her textile buisness, which provides for her three children's education.
This is a closer look at the table runner.
Handblown Glass Pitcher, Mexico, 10″ x 4″ $30.00 This vase matches the hand blown glasses from the May box. This pitcher is hand painted by the Cristaluc workshop in Mexico. The glasses are some of my favorite items I have received in GlobeIn boxes.
This is a better look at the side of the vase. It's georgous!
