Peaches & Petals

The theme for August is “Do You, Boo Boo”. This box is all about carving out some time for yourself.

Adult Chocolate Milk

The back of the card had a recipe for Adult Chocolate Milk.  This is made with kahlua, so I am going to try this out. Yum!

Diamond Home Large Salad Bowl  $14.99 For those who try to bring healthy lunches to work, this is a great item.  This bowl has a snap on lid with a fork snapped on top. Inside, there is a divided lid with cup, and a open bottom for lettuce.

All in one salad bowl

The fork is a bit more sturdy than disposable cutlery.  The small white container in the divided compartment is great for salad dressing. This ensures that your salad won't get soggy. Since I work from home, my husband will probably take this to work.

Aquarius Smithsonian- Rosie The Riveter Pint Glass SetAquarius Smithsonian- Rosie The Riveter Pint Glass Set

Aquarius Smithsonian- Rosie The Riveter Pint Glass Set $12.98 This box set contained two 16 oz pint glasses.  The front of the glass has Rosie with the “We Can Do It!” slogan.  The back of each glass has the history of the slogan and picture.  Originally, this was displayed in Westinghouse factories to discourage strikes and absences by employees.  My husband's grandmother was named Rosie and she was a riveter in WWII, so we like getting cool Rosie The Riveter items.

Batiste Dry Shampoo 1.6oz

Batiste Dry Shampoo 1.6oz $3.99 This dry shampoo has a floral scent and absorbs greesy, leaving you with brighter hair. I have never really been a fan of dry shampoo, because it tends to not work well with my almost black hair.  I will give this one a shot and see if it works.

Head Performance Socks for Women

Head Performance Socks for Women $5.66 These performance socks for women dry quickly and have cushioned sections.  Since I am training for a half marathon, I use many pairs of running socks.  These look comfortable!

UNIBIS Cashew Cookies

UNIBIS Cashew Cookies $1.49 There are two packs of cookies in the box, with 10 cookies in each pack.  These are a very sugary cookies, with chunks of cashews throughout.  They were much better than I expected them to be. In fact, they were down right good!

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $39.11.  The Rosie glasses were my favorite items in the box. The salad bowl is also pretty cool and I know my husband will get use out of it.  I am also excited to try out those socks on my next run. If you want to try Peaches & Petals, use this link with the coupon PEACH10% to save 10% on your 1st month.
