Fuego Box August 2017 Review

Fuego Box August 2017 Review

Fuego Box is a hot sauce of the month club that sends craft and small-batch hot sauces. Fuego Box sends truly tasty and dynamic sauces, and they refuse to send “insane heat, gimmicky labeling, and extract-based sauce”

When you subscribe to Fuego Box, you will get a special introductory box with a mini-tasting notebook, 2 full-sized sauces, and a few samples (Read the Introductory Box Review Here). Your 2nd box and on includes 3 full-sized hot sauces.

There are three different subscription plans:

  • 3 Hot Sauces per Month: $29.95
  • 3 Hot Sauces per Quarter $29.95
  • 1 Hot Sauce per Month $12.95  ($5.00 shipping)

Fuego Box

Fuego Box ships in a padded package, to make sure the bottles won't break.  I have never received a broken bottle from Fuego Box.

All three bottles shipped in a little box.

Information Cards

The information card is now in three individual cards.

Da Kine Hawaiian Hot Mustard Sauce

Da Kine Hawaiian Hot Mustard Sauce I had only seen the term “Da Kine” once previously, and that was on a popular TV show.  I looked it up and it's a common saying meaning “The Kind”. This sauce is owned by a family owned business in Ewa Beach, Hi.  This is a sweet, yet hot mustard sauce that is great on eggs, potatoes, meatballs, avocados, pork and burgers.

Hotter Than El's 24 Karat Gold

Hotter Than El's 24 Karat Gold The owner of Hotter Than El was making his hot sauce for 15 years before selling it.  This sauce doesn't contain any sweetener, habaneros, carrots and garlic.  You can use this on pizza, eggs, or as a marinade for hot wings. I love wings, so I am going to see how this tastes.

Isabel Street Heat's Cilantro Lime Serrano

Isabel Street Heat's Cilantro Lime Serrano This sauce is made by Tony and Leslie Story in St. Paul, Minnesota. This sauce is fermented for 3+ months,  Once done, cold pressed cilantro and lime juice are added.  My husband is a huge fan of cilantro, so I think he will enjoy this sauce. This isn't super hot either, just milk to medium heat.

Final Thought: Fuego Box send three more great hot sauces this month.  I want to try the Hotter Than El sauce first for some hot wings, but they all sound good.  I love spicing up my lunch or dinner with Fuego Box. You can check out Fuego Box with this link and use the coupon CRATE to save $10.00 on your first box. This coupon also works on the single bottle subscription, so you can get a box for under $3.00.
