GlobeIn‘s 1st theme for the June box is “Al Fresco”.Boxes are $55.00 month to month and filled with handmade items from all over the world. I love the quality of the items in my GlobeIn boxes. Serape Blanket, Mexico, 60in x 44in $40.00 I love blankets and we use them all time: swim meets, drive in movies, camping, or just sitting on the couch. This is made of 100% thick cotton and made through Hammock Boutique. They use raw materials and Hammock Boutique bring artisans their materials at home, so artisans can still be with their children.
Enamel Plate, India, 12in diameter $20.00 This pretty platter is great for summer entertaining. It's made through Noah's Ark, which uses the profits it's get to give back to social and economic development of artisans. The collective gives their artisans free healthcare and runs three schools.
Utensil Holder, Mexico, $10.00 This utensil holder will hold your dinnerware and won't poke holes through your bag. I have to transport dinner once a week, so I can use this for our silverware. These are made by Oaxaca weavers in Mexico.
Plantain Chips, Colombia $5.00 I love plantain chips, a great mix of sweet and salty. GlobeIn featured Don Jorge, who has been growing plantains for decades.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $75.00. I loved the blanket and the plate the most. GlobeIn is a great box to get unique items. You can save $10.00 on your first box of a three-month subscription, just use the coupon WELCOME.
