The Pod

The Pod: Each pod is made with 100% compostable materials.  The lid is made with paper and compostable inks. The ring is made with bioresins and more than 20% coffee chaff. The mesh on the bottom is a bio-based compostable material.

Deep Water Dark Roast

Deep Water Dark Roast This coffee is Fair Trade Organic, has a rich body and a spicy bouquet. This coffee smelled fantastic, so my husband tried it right away. My husband can be rather picky with his coffee preferences, so I wasn't sure if he would like a dark roast.  He ended up loving it and has had a few more pods already.

Melitta European Deluxe Roast

Melitta European Deluxe Roast This is a traditional blend, but it's roasted darker than usual, making a medium dark roast. Just going by the description, this sounds like another coffee my husband will really love.

Imperial Blend Coffee

Imperial Blend Coffee This coffee has a distinct flavor and is a smooth medium roast/full bodied coffee.

Final Thought: My husband really enjoyed this box. He has only tried one of the coffees so far, but he loves it so much, he keeps using it. The pods are easy to use, just like the plastic versions, only these are eco-friendly. Why buy conventional pods, when you can get great tasting coffee and you can protect the environment. When you subscribe, you can skip months too! Try EcoCups and SUBBOXMOM20 to save 20% on your subscription.
