Every box comes with an information booklet with details about everything in the box.

Watch CapWatch Cap

Watch Cap: This thick wool cap that came with a velcro “frost” patch. This will be nice for this winter and I will probably  use it as a running hat this winter.

Counter Strike Coffee This is a ground dark and smooth coffee, perfect to keep you warm.  This coffee is described as “for those days you want to get your work done and never let anyone know you were there”.

HotHands Hand and Toe Warmers

HotHands Hand and Toe Warmers I used to use these in high school during marching band competitions. These warm right up and stay warm for 8-10 hours.  If you love hiking in the winter, these will be great to use.

Mircofiber Towel

Mircofiber Towel This is about the size of a hand towel and is great for polishing your car.

Outdoor Essentials Emergency Shelter

Outdoor Essentials Emergency Shelter This is designed to protect you from the elements, in case you get stuck out in the elements. This expands to 8 x 5 feet and comes with a 20 foot cord.  I am going to keep this in our car, just in case we are ever stuck in a snow storm.

Frost Bottle

Frost Bottle This bottle can be used for warm or cold liquids.  We use these types of bottle for our daily water intake.

Frost Dry Bag Frost Dry Bag

Frost Dry Bag You can use this bag to keep all your wet items.  It's rolls up small, so you can easily clip it to a backpack. The bag is waterproof, so you also use it to store socks and things you don't want to get wet.

IMG_8405Sol Emergency Bivvy

Sol Emergency Bivvy This sleeping bag is made of  tear-resistant polyethylene and reflects 90% off your body head back to you. The bright orange will help point you out if you need a rescue and the bag can also protect you from the elements.

Final Thought This box was filled with items to use when you are outdoors (if it's cold).  My son already wants to try the emergency shelter.  We didn't get really a winter in our area this year, but I could see this box being useful for areas that get many inches of snow. If you want to subscribe to Alpha Outpost, or if you want to check out a past box, use this link.
