Alpha Outpost The Gentleman Subscription Box Review

Alpha Outpost The Gentleman Subscription Box Review

Alpha Outpost is a subscription that delivers the tools and training, all around a specific theme.Boxes are $39.95/month and your first three boxes are pre-selected and will be the EDC (first month), an upgraded Gentleman (second month), and then an upgraded Medic (third month).  You can get a subscription or buy past monthly boxes.

The Details

Cost: $39.95/month

What's in the box? Each box contains a theme and the box contains all the tools and training that fit that theme.

Shipping: $6.95/month.  Alpha Outpost ships to the US.

Alpha Outpost

Alpha Outpost ships in a map covered box.

The Gentleman

First Look.  The theme for this box was “The Gentleman”.

Rules

In the box was a list of rules for gentlemen.  These were all pretty obvious, but it's always nice to have a reminder.

Information sheet

There was an information sheet with a list of everything in the box.

Whiskey Glasses (2)

Whiskey Glasses (2) $8.00 Each glass came in its own box.  My husband will use this for his bourbon.

Manzini Neckwear Collection Black Tie

Manzini Neckwear Collection Black Tie $7.50 I couldn't find this exact tie online, but other ties from this brand sell for $20.  Alpha Outpost didn't inflate the value of the tie.  Every man needs a tie, and this black tie should appeal to even the non-tie wearing crowd.

Power Bank

Power Bank $19.99 Phones always run out of battery, right when you need them.  This power bank comes with an android adapter, which is perfect for my husband.

Field Notes

Field Notes $5.00 My husband loves writing notes for work, ideas and important information on little notebooks like this.

Field Notes

This is a look inside the book.  There is a place inside the cover for details and the pages are made up of dotted grid paper.

Steel Flask

Steel Flask $9.25 Whiskey glasses are not so portable, so use this when you have to go to that dreaded party.  The flask is imprinted with the phrase “A gentleman would be ashamed should his deeds not match his words”.

Credit Card Knife

Credit Card Knife $3.00 This will fit right in your wallet.  Just be sure to remove it before flying!

De Espresso Liber Coffee

De Espresso Liber Coffee $9.99 A gentleman can start his morning off right with this whole bean coffee.  I don't drink coffee, but it smells fantastic.

Comb

Comb $5.00 The information card says this is made of metal, but this is a bamboo/wooden comb.  This is going to my 5 year old, as my husband's hair is too short for a comb.

Tactical Pen

Tactical Pen $19.99 This is my favorite item in the box.  This is a real working pen with a screwdriver piece that can replace the ink.  This is a heavy duty pen, that doubles as a self defense weapon.

IMG_7133Whiskey Stones

Whiskey Stones $11.99 Place these stones in the freezer and they will keep your drink cold, without watering it down.

Alpha Outpost The Gentleman Subscription Box Review

Final Thought: This box had total value of $99.71.  I couldn't confirm the prices, but this box was worth the cost.  My husband's favorite items were the the whiskey stones, tactical pen and whiskey glasses.  If you want to subscribe to Alpha Outpost, or if you want to check out a past box, use this link.
