Fuego Box is a hot sauce of the month club that sends craft and small-batch hot sauces. Fuego Box sends truly tasty and dynamic sauces, and they refuse to send “insane heat, gimmicky labeling, and extract-based sauce”
When you subscribe to Fuego Box, you will get a special introductory box with a mini-tasting notebook, 2 full-sized sauces, and a few samples (Read the Introductory Box Review Here). Your 2nd box and on includes 3 full-sized hot sauces.
There are three different subscription plans:
- 3 Hot Sauces per Month: $29.95
- 3 Hot Sauces per Quarter $29.95
- 1 Hot Sauce per Month $12.95 ($5.00 shipping)
Fuego Box comes in a little square box.
First Look
The information card contains details about each of the hot sauces in the box and recommended foods to use the hot sauces on. There was also a coupon to use in their online store.
Freshies Green Heat Jalapeno $11.99 This company started in 1994 when Freshies released a popular Bloody Mary mix. This sauce is made with jalapeno peppers, fresh tomatillos, fresh onion, garlic, agave nectar and spices. This is a medium hot sauce made to go on sandwiches, tacos, pizza, fish and more.
AmberFyre Mango Suave $8.00 This company has only been around for 2 years but they have won 25 awards. This has a kiss of heat, a touch of savory with hints of vanilla & dark rum make this irresistible. This is great for chicken, shrimp, pork, spring rolls, but my favorite is pineapple pork tacos.
Secret Aardvark Drunken Jerk $10.29 This is one of the coolest bottles I have received in this subscription. This is a easy to squeeze bottle and has a great name. This is a combination of Jamaican Jerk seasoning with habanero peppers, thyme, allspice, garlic, and rum. You can marinade pork or chicken in this or put it on pizza.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $30.29, which was just over the cost, but you don't have to pay shipping.
