Honi Essentials October 2016 Essential Oil Subscription Box Review

Honi Essentials October 2016 Essential Oil Subscription Box Review

Honi Essentials is a subscription box for essential oils.  Boxes are $34.99/month and each box comes with three essential oils.  Every oil is 100% pure essential oil.  In addition to the essential oils, you will get suggestions for what you should use the oils for.  It's helpful to have a diffuser for essential oils, but you can soak cotton balls and put them on a plate like I do.

First Look

First Look.  The card on the inside of the box gave details about each essential oil.

Honi Essentials Packaging

All the essential oils were packaged in squiggles and placed in a plastic bag.  Each bottle is 15ml and comes in a dropper bottle, which in an improvement from their first box.

Frankinscense (Boswellia Serrata)

Frankinscense (Boswellia Serrata) This essential oil is from India and is described as mysterious, rich and woodsy.  I can really notice the rich and woodsy scents. This scent is one that will really warm up your home.  Frankinscense boost immunity and helps fight negative emotions.

Sweet Orange (Citrus Sinesis)

Sweet Orange (Citrus Sinesis) This scent is from Canada and smells just like fresh oranges.  This is described as delightful, refreshing and tangy.  This helps improve mood, and excite the senses.  Typically, I don't love orange scents, but this one really smells good. This would be great for a kitchen or bathroom.

Cassis (Cinnamonum Cassia)

Cassis (Cinnamonum Cassia) This scent is from China and is described as comforting, spicy and warm.  The scent reminds me of something baking, which will also work well in the kitchen.  This oil promotes self-worth and relieves internal discomfort.

Final Thought I was really happy that Honi Essentials changed the glass bottles to ones with a dropper. They are now even easier to use! The scents were very nice and I look forward to using them this fall.  If you like using essential oils or want to try them out for the first time, you can check out the box here and use the coupon BOXMOM20 to get 20% off your entire box.
