GlobeIn November 2016 Benefit Basket Review

GlobeIn November 2016 Benefit Basket Review

The GlobeIn Benefit Basket is an artisan subscription box and a great box for people who love the regular GlobeIn box, but want a bit less.
The Benefit Basket contains one crafted good from a remarkable, remote artisan, all in a colorful, handwoven basket from their weaving collective in Oaxaca, Mexico.  You will also get story of the artisan, their community, and how you are making an impact on their lives.  The Benefit Basket is $19.95/month or $56.95 for 3 months, but you can get $7.00 off your 1 box of a 3 month subscription with the code TRYBENEFIT.

The Benefit Basket comes in a smaller box than the regular Globe In subscription.

Each box comes with information card, giving details about the items in the box and the artisans who crafted them.

Dessert Bowl Set by Le Souk Ceramique from Tunisia $25.00 These bowls feature the Malika design and measure 5x5x2 in.  Each bowl is made of stonewear clay, but are dishwasher and microwavable safe! Le Souk Ceramique is a company in Tunisia that is bringing artisans together to provide a great working environment and a way for artisans to earn a living from their craft.  I have already used these as fruit bowls for my kids.  I want to grab two more, so I can have a set for the family.

Each bowl is carefully hand panted.  Every bowl looks slights different, yet theme pattern is used for all the bowls.

GlobeIn Signature Palm Leaf Basket from Oaxaca, Mexico

GlobeIn Signature Palm Leaf Basket from Oaxaca, Mexico $12.00  Each subscriber also received a beautiful handwoven basket from Mexico.  Styles and colors vary. These baskets can be used for decoration, wrapping presents or storage!  I have given a few away to family and friends.  I personally use them for storing small toys under my children's beds.

Final Thought: I loved this month's Benefit Basket, because the pieces go with the items I received in my regular November Globe In Box. The total value was $37.00, and the bowls alone were worth more than the cost of the box. The colors are gorgeous and I love that I can microwave them! If you want to subscribe, you can get $7.00 off your 1 box of a 3 month subscription with the code TRYBENEFIT.  You will  pay under $17.00/box.
