Book

Inside the book, there was a maze activity and an introduction to this month's box.

Feet, Go to Sleep by Barbara Bottner and Maggie Smith

Feet, Go to Sleep by Barbara Bottner and Maggie Smith $14.06 This book is about a little girl Fiona.  As she relaxes each part of her body, she remembers all the fun activities she did each day.  This is a good book to help kids slowly relax their body.

I Can Do It Myself Hardcover by Valorie Fisher

I Can Do It Myself Hardcover by Valorie Fisher $16.20  When I first saw this book, I thought it was one of those “feel-good, I am a big kid” books, but it's much better.  This book is filled with various things kids can do, and gives them directions for how to do them.  Kids can learn to use a pencil, write numbers, tie their shoes and more.  This is my favorite book in the box and my 4-year-old is trying to master everything in the book.

Soap, Soap, Soap / Jabon, Jabon, Jabon by Elizabeth O. Dulemba

Soap, Soap, Soap / Jabon, Jabon, Jabon by Elizabeth O. Dulemba $16.95 This book is an updated take on the Appalachian Jack Tale.  The story is about Hugo, and his mother sends him to the store to get soap.  He gets distracted along the way, but manages to remember “soap, soap, soap”.  This book also has certain words translated into Spanish, so children can learn another language as they read.

Badger's Fancy Meal Hardcover by Keiko Kasza $15.75 In this story, Badger gets tired of eating the same ol' thing.  Badger goes out in search for something different, but the other animals are not interested in becoming Badger's lunch.  This story teaches kids to be thankful for what they have.
