Guest Review Alert- Gigi!  Hi everyone!  I’m back again for a guest review of SquintBox – your monthly mini fix!  This is the very first launch box!

SquintBox is a new subscription service delivering a delightful assortment of hand-crafted miniatures to your door each month.  You get up to six quality 1/12th scale  miniature items from popular categories including food, flowers, books and accessories.     SquintBox was created by Darren Scala, founder of D. Thomas Fine Miniatures, an online and in-store retail destination featuring all things miniature. Mr. Scala hand curates the monthly assortment and is excited to continuously search the planet looking for the best selection of quality miniatures to offer subscribers each month.

The Details:

Cost: $29.95/month or save on 3 and 6-month plans:
3-month plan: (10% savings) – $26.96 per box (prepaid $80.87)
6-month plan: (15% savings) – $25.46 per box (prepaid $152.75)

What’s in the box? Each month, you will receive up to six quality 1/12th scale  miniature items from popular categories including food, flowers, books and accessories.

SquintBox ships in a cute little cardboard box.

Celebration! Whether you’re a hobbyist, a collector, or just love little things, we’re thrilled to showcase SquintBox to you.  This box is all about celebrating little things.

Drinks & Glassware: Classic Cosmo in real glass with a lemon twist and a bottle of red wine to get the party going!

Magazine: A vintage Cosmopolitan (circa 1964) is a retro return to a scene right out of Mad Men.  Also included are a mini extension cord and tiny candles.

Food: Blueberry Pie in a real tin pan – considered one of the easiest pies to make (in real life!)… A great after dinner dessert!

Miniaturist Spotlight: SquintBox loves to introduce miniaturists and share their work with you.  Michael Yurkovic (www.atomicminiature.com) creates really cool minis.  This month featured a signed limited edition mid-century-modern ash tray, right from the set of Mad Men.

Final ThoughtSquintBox is very unique and super fun.  These miniatures are *tiny* and adorable.  SquintBox subscribers are encouraged to use their miniatures for collecting, crafting or display.  They can also be used in a dollhouse, room box, shadow box, or memory box.. Worth a look if you love miniatures! Click HERE to check them out and try a box yourself!
