The package shipped in a padded brown envelope.

Welcome Letter

There was a welcome letter that explained the subscription and what you receive in a package. You don't have to plant all your seeds at once, as they will last for years.  You will find details about each pack of sees on each envelope, but you can also log into your account for more details on your seeds and how best to grow them.

Grow Journey has a referral program and Grow Journey included a card about it.  There was also a blank envelope, so you can share some seeds with a friend, as part of their referral program.

Grow Journey

The large package included five packet of seeds. Each packet includes everything you need know you about each seed: descriptions, grow time, growth habit, spacing, when to start, light requirements and more.

Carrot, ‘Dragon

Carrot, ‘Dragon This seed produces a 7″ purple carrot that has a sweet and earthy taste, with hints of spice.  You need an 18″ pot for these seeds and you can mix them with other root vegetable plants. These are vegetables you want to start and grow outdoors.

Broccoli, ‘Green Sprouting Calabrese

Broccoli, ‘Green Sprouting Calabrese’ This broccoli can be grown in the fall or spring and can withstand frost better than other broccoli.  These can grow up to 2-3ft and 2ft wide, so be sure you have the proper room when planting.

Beet, ‘Touchstone Gold’

Beet, ‘Touchstone Gold’ I love beets but they can be rather hard to find around me.  The greens of this beat can be eaten, along with the root.  I have not had golden beets before, so I want to grow these, so I can try them.
Bok Choy, ‘Prize Choy’

Bok Choy, ‘Prize Choy’ One seed can grow into a 1.5 lb bok choy in 45 fays.  I have made dishes with bok choy and it would be great to grow it, so I could have it on hand.

Lettuce, ‘Wild Garden Mix’

Lettuce, ‘Wild Garden Mix’ These seeds come from Frank Morton's farm in Oregon.  He breds a variety of organic lettuce, and Grow Journey included them all.  It will take about 75 days for a full plant, but it will be great lettuce!
