First Look
This month had a back to school theme. There was a sticker matching the them included in the box too.
T-Shirt The shirt this month was for the Master Builder Academy. Both of my sons love LEGOs, so they both wanted this shirt.
BrickSwag Contest This bag of LEGO bricks is a contest to build an abstract LEGO structure. I usually give this box to my oldest, but my youngest loved it so much, he will be given some LEGOs to complete this challenge too.
School Bus Build This set has all the pieces to make a small school bus. The book has directions for two different school buses, so be sure to find the one for this build.
My son got right to work making the bus.
This is the completed bus, it turned out really cute.
Funky Figs Funky Figs are LEGO type figures that have personalities and are collectible. This month, we received Back to School Figures: Rex the Janitor, Scrambles, Principal Sliderule, Mister Beaker, and Straight A Sarah.
DK Readers L4: LEGO NINJAGO: Team Ninja I love DK books, because it's easy to find books on your child's reading level. My son isn't on LEVEL 4 yet, so I am reading most of this too him. Since L loves LEGOs, it's easy getting reading time in.
Poster The post this month is just hilarious. I have several friends who are teachers, so one of them will get this.
LEGO Brick Each month, you will get a LEGO brick with the month and year on the side.
