Once you finish your coffee, you log into your account and rate each coffee.  After you rate each coffee, BeanGenius will reveal the coffee.  Since my husband is the coffee drinker in the house, he tried the coffee.

GUATEMALA (Nutty)

For mystery coffee number one it had a taste that wasn't sweet, and the flavor wasn't really to my liking. I think the coffee was different than what I am used to, but glad I tried it.

Acidity
Mid level acidity
Body
Medium body light flavor
Sweetness
Very little in regards of sweetness
Finish
`Not really a pleasant after taste

This coffee was GUATEMALA (Nutty).

SUMATRA (Earthy)

On the 2nd mystery coffee I could taste the bold flavoring. However, the bitter after taste was little unlikable. I think my bias to sweet might be effecting my taste on this coffee.

Acidity
Mid to High acidity
Body
bold body flavor
Sweetness
not much in regards of sweetness
Finish
Goes bitter taste quickly.

The actual coffee was SUMATRA (Earthy).

ETHIOPIA (Fruity)

The 3rd and final mystery coffee was very high acidity taste to me. It did surprise me though in the flavor. The only thing I can think of is, the brilliant aroma tricked my brain into giving an interesting flavor.
Acidity
High acidity
Body
Interesting flavor
Sweetness
not much in regards of sweetness
Finish
Very good smell that made the coffee

The actual coffee was ETHIOPIA (Fruity).

Final Thought: Overall each coffee was outside my normal coffee consumption pattern. I think this is good because you will never know what new things you like until you try some others that you take a chance not liking.  Trying the coffee before knowing what it was, made the experience more exciting.  If you like trying new coffee, you can check out BeanGenius.
