Here is the first peek!

This was telling about the new box structure.  There used to be a paper that told you what was in the box, now you have to log in online to see what you are eating.  There is a link to nutrition facts online as well.

Country Maam Crispy Chips  These are crispy, thin cookie treats with a nice mix of vanilla and chocolate chips.  There are extra crunchy and have a good chocolate taste.

Ajiwai Puccho (Ume Sio Konbu)  This is a beloved Japanese soft candy.  These are a new flavor, with a hint of salt and sour plum.  They are individually wrapped inside.  They weren't bad.  A little different 🙂

Corn Na Yatai Dontacos (Ika Yaki)  This is a staple of Japanese summer festivals. Grilled squid and soy sauce in a corn chip form.  I ate the bag before knowing what it was….I'm shocked it was squid.  The hubs and I found them to be very yummy!

Tako Fusen These were basically crunchy balls (air inside) flavored with takoyaki sauce seasoning.  These were really savory and good!

DSC_0495

Yaki Koeda  These are twig shaped treats with a crunch bite and sweet chocolate taste.  They are not overly sweet until the last yummy bite as they melt in your mouth 🙂

DSC_0496

Torotto Mango  These are sweet chocolate cubes with a rich mango taste.  I love these, as I love chocolate and mango.  They have a nice texture and flavor.

Caramel Corn (Coconut Milk)  These are puffs of caramel corn with a taste of coconut.  This was my favorite thing in the whole box.  I'm ashamed to say I ate the whole bag at once!

DSC_0498

Osomatsu San Gummy  These are muscat grape flavored gummies.  I love gummies, and these were unique and tasty.  Osomatsu is the most popular Japanese character in 2016.

Mets (Mango)  This is a tart mango soda.  It was very fizzy and tasted like a mango (which I love).  I give it a thumbs up!

Kin No Gaburi Chew Golden Pineapple  This is a juicy variety of gum with a strong pineapple flavor.  This was excellent.  It's not gum in the technical sense, as it's a stick and you eat it 🙂

Fit's Salt Lemon  This is a special edition gum combining sour lemon with a subtle salt taste.  I loved this!  It surpassed expectations.  The salt and lemon totally work, and the smell was so good when I unwrapped the package!

Final Thought:  I like this box a lot.  I felt like it had the variety that some boxes lack.  There was a drink, gum, gummies, sweets, savory, crunch, soft.  Just like the box said, these were new, never before seen flavors.  There was nothing in the box that I had tried before, and that was great!    You can check out WOWBOX with this link and save 10% with code S-EJGGZEIX, which is valid through September 30.
