Sunglasses Club August 2016 Review
Sunglasses Club is a mystery subscription box that sends two pairs of sunglasses for $9.99/month. When you sign up, you select, women, men or mixed. Each box will come with two name-brand sunglasses with a value of at least $30.00. You will not get two of the same pair in the same month, but you may receive a duplicate pair in a future month. I am horrible with sunglasses and misplace mine at least once a day.
The Details
Cost: $9.99/month for 2 pairs.
What's in the box. Each box will contain 2 pairs of sunglasses. Choose 2 women's, 2 men's or 1 of each.
The sunglasses shipped in a plain brown box.
Each pair was packaged in their own protective bag.
Panama Jack Sunglasses for Women ($15.99 price tag on pair) This pair has large round frames and features an animal-like print. I like this are pretty plain and not flashy. They are nicely made and have shatter-resistant lenses.
The side has a more pronounced pattern. The ear pieces fit closer to your head than some frames, which is something I love This pair also blocks 100% UVA & UVB rays.
Foster Grants Sunglasses for Men ($19.99 price tag on pair) Since I received the mixed box, both my husband and I each received a pair of sunglasses. This are a sporty pair and are covered with a rubber-like coating. These are just the kind of pair my husband would select for himself.
The sides have a small design element and the same rubber coating. The lenses are polarized and protect against 100% UVA & UVB rays. My husband really loves this pair.
Final Thought Just using the price tags, the glasses had a total value of $35.98. I only buy cheap sunglasses, so I really wasn't expecting such nice quality pairs. $9.99 for 2 cheap, no name sunglasses would've been reasonable, but 2 name brand sunglasses are a steal.
