Gentleman’s Box August 2016 Review + Coupon
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I received this box for review.
Gentleman's Box sends 4 to 6 essential products for men. Boxes are $25.00/month and they also have a yearly plan. Each box also features a “modern gentleman”, someone who is a role model for other gentlemen. Be sure to check out the $5.00 coupon at the end of this review.
Cost: $25.00/month, $275.00/year (one month free)
What's in the box? Each box will contain 4-6 grooming and lifestyle products.
Everything comes in a little square box.
Every box comes with an information guide with all the products in the box. Each box is themed around a specific famous man, this month is Prince.
Sunny Rebel Aspen Sunglasses $49.00 These glasses have a faux wood finish, with blue tinted lenses. These have a unique look and are pretty stylish. My husband (like myself) breaks his glasses often, so these will be nice to have on hand.
The glasses come in a black pouch for storage. This is a side view of the glasses.
West End The Hunter Socks $15.00 The are very soft sock in a nice combination of black, gray and lilac. I maintain my belief that men's socks are far more comfortable than women's socks. These even go up to a size 15, so my husband's size 14 feet will be comfortable.
Four Fifty Five Pocket Square in Seaton $19.00 This pocket square is standard size and made of 100% cotton. There is a floral print that coordinates nicely with the other items in the box. My husband rarely dresses up, so he won't use this, so we will pass it on to a well dressed friend.
Filthy Etiquette Tie $30.00 This tie is a soft lavender that also works with the other pieces in the box. The is very lightweight, perhaps the lightest weight tie we have received. Since it's about 100 degrees here, this tie was a nice pick.
Crusader for Men Eye Serum $32.00 This eye serum reduces puffiness and restores healthy skin to the undereye area. This is a roller-ball applicator, so it's super easy to apply. My husband doesn't have a skin care routine, but he might use this if I place it near his sink.
Final Thought: This box contained a total value of $145.00. Gentleman's Box always sends high valued boxes and even thought my husband doesn't use pocket squares, he always enjoys this box. The sunglasses and socks were the big winners for this box. If you want to try this box, use this link with the code SBM5 to save $5.00 on your 1st box. You will pay $20.00 for your first box, which is less than the value of just the tie!
